I do not agree with everything Starmer has done, but if he actually manages to build build build and overcome all the NIMBYs, I'll be impressed.

Seriously, screw the NIMBYs, the answer can't always be no, we need new homes built we don't have enough, the airport expansions and giving approval for Universal would be great for growth. We can't keep stagnating because the NIMBYs come in and complain that things aren't staying exactly the same.

Also Gov.Uk app with the virtual drivers license and single sign-on for all government services is a good idea, I shouldn't need to have sixty million logins across different government departments, and it'd be also nice if updating my address with one of them updates it with everyone else and I don't have to spend a stupid amount of time updating each of them in turn whenever I move house.

    "Kup itar-bosh na' du k'waw'zhe," he said.(3)

She carefully translated his words in her head, struggling with the last word but assuming he was thanking her for her invitation. She bit her lip as she thought of the correct and appropriate response and then replied, "Kup-aitlu k'kan'zhe na'sasarlah." (4)

His eyebrows rose higher than she'd ever seen them go and if she didn't know better, she could swear he was about to laugh. True to his Vulcan demeanor, he maintained his composure but said, "You should continue to work on your Vuhlkansu."

"What did I say?" she gulped.

"I believe you meant to say 'I want to thank you for coming,'" he answered.

"Yes, but what did I say?"

"You said something suggestive of impregnating me," he replied.
    Lol.

Omegaverse sneaking into my good, clean heterosexual fanfic. (No I mean it would be mpreg lol. Not omegaverse. But omegaverse is the internet's topic these past two weeks so.)

Oh yeah I also forgot to post about this other fanfic description I saw recently:

Lol I saw this lesbian fanfic set in the predator universe and the description had a human female character who lives in a cottage and I was thinking... You did not write a cottage core lesbian interspecies romance fanfic with a yautja. Then saw the tags:

    Cottagecore Lesbians my beloved

We are in desperate need of more gay Yautjas imp
    🤣

    That's hilarious.
    No but I love that.

I removed a post I made earlier (because it turned into a huge rant lol,) but part of it was about this video I stumbled on after stumbling on another video by them. I don't really like them or their various agendas but that's sort of besides the point I was reading the comments (didn't watch the video lol)

As I said before they obviously made this video because of Strange Aeon's recent omegaverse videos and because of algorithmic trends.

I kind of hate it when conservatives learn about stuff though. They really ruin things lol. (I'm not talking about the couple in the video they wouldn't describe themselves that way I think, they are part of Elon's ideological bubble which is weirder and more machiavellian, but they pander to a mostly conservative audience on YouTube.)

Somehow half the comments are still convinced that they are putting litter boxes in schools which was a dumb conservative misinformation video years ago:

Number two two schools are now putting litter boxes in the school in my area because of furries. And you might say well. These are for kids. It's not sexual. I have a high school girl who works with me who shared a story where they pulled on one of the furry's tales and a butt plug came out. Yeah kids are wearing fetish gears in high school and Junior high.
No they're not you've all fallen for conservative misinformation. How are people still falling for this r*tarded nonsense? So annoying that there are several comments like this.

White males also appear to have the highest out group preference and there may be something there related to the Steppe Pastoralists of our ancient past.
Gonna need a citation for that. It would make sense that white women have a lower opinion of men including white men if true. Perhaps even the higher crime rate etc compared to other races of women because they're taking care of themselves - though that's a newer trend since the 80s. (women in America's rate of violent crime has been increasing since 1980 and since 2000 there were some statistics comparing race and noted black and Hispanic women's had dropped by different percentages but white women's had increased. Men seem to be getting less violent but didn't see anything that broke that down by race on the webpage I was looking at.)

I think they're doing the boring thing where they assume women who are into omegaverse automatically identify as bottoms so to speak and are also submissive.

The analogy I've started using for these fringe interests is "marginalia". The strange illustrations on the margins of medieval manuscripts. They're fine and fun in the margins but the point is the text of the manuscript. Don't center marginalia.
You can always leave the internet. It was mostly weird nerdy folk to start with. Then other people joined...

I'm surprised bunnies are so rare... You know... because of Zootopia.
I don't think they are really I mean consider playboy bunnies. It's just that like with catgirls it doesn't get classified as a furry thing per se. Hard to find male bunny stuff though because it's seen as feminine clearly. And as with most things like this it's very gay too - not much heterosexual stuff.

I'm not into actual anthro stuff though. Just the psychological identity/behaviour + maybe a few details like ears/tails. It's kind of a spectrum like that for most people.

I've liked stuff with Humanoid cats on/off over the years too. Used to have daydream stories in my head about Humanoid cat guys.

I also don't like dressing up myself at all. Closest thing I guess is I like some dragon aesthetic stuff but even then minimal not like an entire dragon costume. I guess that would be 'scalie' not furry anyway.

I think you're a little incomplete on the issue of why people write mpreg. I've seen a lot of women working out their pregnancy/birth trauma through writing about it using a man. There's one step of psychological remove based on gender
Also, consider that a man impregnating another man plays into hyper dominance as we assume level of dominance in men.
"Women aren't allowed to be submissive in our present culture. So they read this instead so they can be vicariously submissive."

    You're all so boring.

I know a lot of women want to see men submit for a change. Or to bottom. But it's so beyond most people (and these people especially,) that it doesn't even occur to people as a possible reason some women read this stuff. You have to reason everything back to "Women just want to be submissive."

Why are there more women into 'pegging' now than men? According to Aella's research? It's slightly female preferred. I don't like the term pegging I prefer strap on sex because (reasons I cba going into again right now.)

Why in some fandoms is the more attractive guy (like the guy most female fans are more attracted to,) the guy who tends to be portrayed as a bottom? Good example is Loki/Thor fanfics. I don't ship them but it's a very popular pairing and most of the women who read that stuff are into Loki. Most women in general are into Loki. Hmm:

1,448 Works in Bottom Loki (Marvel)
830 Works in Top Loki (Marvel)
I actually prefer reading Loki/Darcy fanfiction though. There's only one fanfic I found I think with her using strap on on him and somehow they're in a casual relationship and then after this (literally after this, like after they have strap on sex) she decides to break up with him since she's also in a relationship with Steve and then Loki gets together with Tony Stark and she gets together with Steve Rogers. Really? In the only fanfic. Feels like a hatecrime no lol. I compartmentalise romance and porn so I often read heterosexual romance a lot these days since I like that, but I don't get off to stuff in these fanfics. I get off to other stuff (mostly audio stuff atm and that tends to ultimately involve either more gay sex or femdom and male submissive stuff.) As a teenager I mostly read gay male stuff though.

Like I've said before I'm not really into omegaverse specifically but I grew up reading tons of slash fanfiction and m/m original erotica and romance etc. I know there are a lot of trans guys who do, a lot of non-binary people. Actually on AO3 slash fanfiction is mostly written and read by bisexual women (not straight women,) and non-binary people are also overrepresented according to surveys. A lot of the people doing this also like the idea of topping guys regardless of gender identity. Or male submission etc.

Lots of people are switches so they like that you can just switch pov. But I think (as illustrated from this entire discourse,) there is an inability to imagine a woman taking on that dominant role and especially not topping in general (whether dominant or not.) Especially women feel that way and especially if they have quite a passive personality, so they just vicariously experience it through men instead imo.

When people are like 'women aren't allowed to be sexually submissive anymore so they read slash fanfiction' like Malcolm in that video. It's just this for me:

    👏 Let 👏 women 👏 be 👏 submissive 👏 bottoms.

It's not like it's universally assumed without conversation in every heterosexual relationship ever.

I know I'm conflating power dynamics here with topping and bottoms a bit and they're not the same but both are considered atypical by our culture and often put forward together as one thing.

I actually myself like dominant bottoms (not exclusively but yeah. I have liked stuff like this. Or like power bottoms too.) Which would blow most people's minds conceptually. How is that even possible? And especially as someone who is afab without a dick. "Femdom is when you use a strap on on a man." No actually. Not even remotely ready for that conversation.

Also the people who consume m/m stuff because they're hypercompetitive and hate women so only want to consume stuff with two men are absolutely a (infamous) subset (there's even a TV trope page about them lol and how they hate all heterosexual couples which might be more of a tangential thing that's more to do with [BEEP] stuff being seen as better morally but sometimes is competition based as well,) but honestly not as big a subset as you'd think. A lot consume heterosexual stuff as well as slash, or even femslash as well.

Recently someone posted on twitter about a manga with a woman topping a guy and people were describing it as 'straight yaoi' which made me lol but it's also sad. The comments included people saying 'about time' and some weirdos complaining that it was fetishising gay men. You complain when it's two men and you complain when it's straight? Really? [BEEP] off. There were other nonsense comments too I don't remember it's twitter so everything turns into a shitshow obviously.

There's a scene in a video game with the character Karlach. I've posted about this before I think. Baldur's Gate 3. Haven't played it. I'm just going to quote what I said before. God it took forever to find this (it really illustrates how oblivious/unaware people are about the possibility of women topping though right. And especially cis women):

I haven't played this game but apparently there's some scene in the new Baldur's Gate 3 where Karlach (this female demon character) tops your character even if male.

on track for the straight man to go sociologically extinct by the year 3000

Men just assume that topping people with vaginas is going to happen so I don't see how this is different.

obsolete and will not survive the winter if they get scared by a little pegging. good riddance
It's fine but they can't then complain when afab people aren't interested in being penetrated because it's hypocritical.

The guy saying devs made Karlach be the top "without really giving men a choice in the matter" is SO CLOSE to an epiphany that would change his view of het sex forever. So fucking close.
I know. This is hilarious from a sociological experiment perspective.

Fellas, is it lesbian sex when a man and a woman bang?
Sometimes they call it gay male sex as well. It's funny. Seems to break down/queer a lot of things.

Straight men don't deserve women 😒
I had to go back to twitter to try and find stuff and found more conversation:

    Never forget where we started

im going to be mean am i allowed to be mean
You wouldn't like the heterosexual shipping either.

Flashback to when straight men thought they're games were bugging because Karlach pegged them
It is actually hilarious how many men are posting on reddit about the Karlach sex scene confusedly
People on tumblr are discoursing on my Karlach topping post...seasons change but tumblr stays the same. God bless our troops
It just makes sense that she deserves a strap how can anyone dispute
like literally the game could not possibly make it clearer that she's a top but most straight men cannot wrap their head around the concept of being topped by a woman even in a heterosexual context. to them women are objects to be claimed not individuals with a say in sex acts
    As they should.

Also of course this stuff I posted before:

my gf [20F] wants me [28M] to be a "catboy" [NSFW]

I met my gf Sara (fake name) 2.5 years ago on a discord for a certain popular video game. We were long distance for the first six months, but I was able to take a business trip in her area to meet her and it was one of the best days of my life. Sara ended up coming to NY for college and we spent nearly every weekend together. When Covid hit, she didn't want to return home so she's stayed with me and has been for the last ~9 months. Through all this stress, Sara has really been my rock and in spite of everything the last 9 months have been better than ever expected for a worldwide pandemic. She's perfect for me, or so I thought.

    [....]

I really adore her, but lately she has become really aggressive about me participating in her TikTok niche "community/interest" (idek if that's the best word) too. Turns out some of these interests were sexual? Our sex life is pretty normal, vanilla and semi-frequent but she's recently seemed a little bored during it/less enthused. That's when I found out that her TikTok interests were more risque. She has been telling me she wishes I was like the young men she watches on TikTok who wear cat ears and little dresses. I think her asks are kind of extreme and possibly immoral (I'm Catholic). I was raised to think men should be a certain way and already struggle with how gangly and un-masculine I look. In addition to talking about dresses and cat ears she keeps talking about pegging and is obsessed with taking my 'virginity' (yes the one you're thinking of). I want to make her happy, but I'm afraid it's too much and people will find out about it. Sara can sometimes lack a filter and will inappropriately gush about how good I am In bed. I'm worried that since she's really active on other social media--she doesn't know I know her handle and also joined the discords--and I've seen some of her posts about having a submissive boyfriend who does what she wants. She's been talking about how uninterested and unfulfilled during sex with me because all she wants is to try and 'top' me.

I think some of her catboy interests have been manifesting already. Sometimes she'll watch over me cleaning and tell me to redo a spot in a forceful way. It was cute and funny at first but then I realized she wasn?t joking and I found it strange. She spilt a glass of orange juice yesterday while looking me in the eyes and then said "Get to work". Again, strange. She?s tried to be a bit more aggressive in bed, and I was taken back by it and caught off-guard which she may have interpreted as uninterested. Sometimes after sex she will ask for a snack or something and when we go to the kitchen to make it I'm usually in just my underwear or robe. Lately she has been hiding my robe but leaving out her dresses and suggested I try wearing that instead. I usually reject that but it?s getting colder and I can?t find my robe. Even while making a meal she?ll be more aggressive/demanding comments and sometimes she makes me feed her? The other day when she was in the bathroom

I saw she was had tabs on looking for cat ears and maid outfits, at first I thought it was hot and got excited but then I noticed it was a size large, so for me. We haven't discussed this at all and I'm not really sure what to do next. What should I do? I don't hate the idea and I want to make her happy but I haven't been into the more aggressive aspects she's put up over the last couple of months. I also don?t want to do these things if she's going to tell her discord friends about our sex life and I'm afraid that it will compromise my faith. I want to make her happy but I don't know what to do. Advice?
You can see in the comment below the denial again (he's much less cuter than the other guy too leading me to believe that the OP is fake especially given the OP's later comment about being neat and always putting his clothes away, and this is real.):

I don't want to disclose too much personal info but I 100% believe it. I'm 23, had this 18 year old girl aggressively pursue be (we shared a hobby and worked together so I's spend roughly 15 hours a week with her anyway). I didn't like the age gap and had other options, but she made a really really nice gesture for my (23rd) birthday once and I decided to give her a shot after discussing with other people how immoral the age difference was.

This girl claims she isn't on tik tok, but she also shares the same desire of feminizing me and pegging me. I kind of call her bluff on this because this seems to be the new norm along 18/19 year old girls. I don't know what it comes from, it's definitely dominant on the Twitter sphere and tik-tok and etc, but it really is strange to me.

I'm dominant in bed and can talk about these subjects without much discomfort, but I'm really not too sure she could even handle "domming" me as she claims to want to do. She doesn't understand that pegging isn't just getting a big strap on and going right in, especially since she's never used lube before, never considered fingering a guys ass, or knows nothing about cleaning done there. For a lot of other reasons I'll spare you I think the idea is romanticized in her head, but I don't think it would be fulfilling for either party, and would instead be entirely awkward. I think it has something to do with current trends and a weird new reverse misogyny of "putting men in their place".

Don't really know what to make of any of this, it's all really new and honestly just weird to me, but I'm wondering if other people are noticing this too.
This is also related (from a reddit community with a guy who works as a doctor who treats trans patients the first quote is from him. It's not very politically correct these are his observations on trends he's noticed):

**Elevated Serum Homocysteine Levels, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Hypermobile joints (often also have flat feet, pectus excavatum/carinatum), "Fibromyalgia" (I hate this diagnosis name but basically unexplained pain issues) Hashimoto's thyroiditis, IBS / Inflammatory GI issues, Queerness (gender or sexual orientation), migraine headache (mostly XX humans). Non-gender normative behavior, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia (hormonal disruption, hirsutism, or passing out when standing up / "POTS", high resting heart rate, poor stress tolerance), PTSD, Bipolar/Schizo/depression (burnout type), Generalized Anxiety, Eczema, Severe acne in natal females (PCOS), Mast Cell Issues / Allergies, Myopia (negative glasses prescription), Increased Intelligence, Genetic mutations in MTHFR or MTR/R, Irritable Bladder or IC (acidic urine typically, gets up a lot at night to urinate), Spider veins (especially at the base of the neck posteriorly/upper back as well as "cherry hemangiomas". "Translucent" skin with easily visible vasculature.

In cis MPS-MPS relationships, You will often see a masculine woman paired with a feminine man. In trans relationships, it's basically the same thing, a feminine person with a masculine person. We theorize this is to offset the hormonal imbalance issues and is therefore more likely to be a successful pregnancy.

In terms of body habitus, the skinny low muscular ones tend to look like LOTR elves. They have high angular facial features and even somewhat look like a pointed ear. The lesbians that come out as transgender men that look like little pixies, they start on testosterone and suddenly become gay transgender men are this type 1 phenotype, the tall spindly 6'4 transgender woman with no muscle mass will have an absolutely enormous Adam's apple, and significantly above average length penis is the same variant but in MTF.

The stocky, thick, large breasted, big butted humans that look like they have a lot of cortisol circulating tend to look almost like dwarves from LOTR. Wider more round faces. This is a different subtype, and the lesbians that come out as FTM in this subtype remain attracted to women. Additionally they end up with better vocal development related to slowly transitioning on their own with elevated androgens throughout their life prior to starting full FTM HRT. The gay men of this subtype that have the elevated DHT end up having an early puberty, have a short, thicker penis, are short in height, Have male pattern baldness, and basically look like Burl Ives. They often have a very brassy voice that sounds similar in timbre to many transgender men who were started on testosterone too rapidly and end up ossifying their larynx before normbal vocal development can occur (which creates that brassy transgender man voice that makes them sound like a gay man). You can replicate this voice style by compressing your larynx while you speak and you'll understand what I mean.

Personality effects: Interest in fantasy worlds / gaming, "Nerd culture" (Star trek/wars/Dr who) Otakus/Anime, Ren Faire, Non-traditional relationship structures, BDSM interest. ( I think all of this personality stuff is related to these people being faintly dissociated all the time, often related to VDR/COMT/MAO mutations amplified by MTHFR defects.) Thus, the idea of "other realities" is quite easy for their brains to accept, hence the interest in these common topics.

The exception of this is the autism, which I suspect is related to perinatal estradiol levels which are effectively driven by maternal reactions to heavy folate supplementation in prenatal vitamins affecting women with MTHFR deficiencies different than other cisgender women. In short, the reason for autism is the same reason for being transgender but they are not directly genetically linked. They are both an effect caused by underlying hormonal enzyme mutations or perinatal hormonal disruption.

See my recent post on this which is my theory of why autism has become so prevalent since 1991 and the direct association between autism and increasing perinatal folic acid use as well as the complete inverse proportionality between spina bifida rates and autism rates in the entire world.

Not everyone who has the syndrome will have all aspects of it. But many people have multiple things. I myself have many of the things and I also have the same genetic mutations in MTHFR and MTR/R but no gender issues. My dad has hashimoto's and aromatase excess and both parents gave me MTHFR variants.
I think my boyfriend and I are a textbook MPS cis couple!

Me: 5'0 cis woman, autistic and dyspraxic, hypermobile joints (no hEDS or other genetic conditions that I know of, however I have a very narrow palate).

Hirsutism, LH:FSH ratio of 4:1 (waiting to see if my GP thinks I have PCOS or not since I have normal T, insulin, FAI and ovaries on ultrasound (DHEAS wasn't tested yet though)? NCAH or Turner Syndrome perhaps?)

Hypothyroid (negative Hashimoto's antibodies though), myopia, lazy eye/possible strabimus (all of my siblings have strabismus). Low folate, but I definitely don't eat enough food with folic acid in, so who knows the cause?

Didn't develop boobs until I started taking birth control, I was very much the "pixie" type that Dr. Powers describes.

I am straight, however my type has always been feminine men, in fact for YEARS all of my crushes would end up being gay! Pegging a man would feel SO right to me and I often get really strong urges to do so, as well as occasional feelings of wishing that I had a dick, despite being very cis.

To quote Dr. Powers, "most simplistically, I could say that testosterone makes somebody a top", and that definitely checks out for me - I am a femdom enthusiast, however once I started taking birth control, my submissive side started coming out more too. Hmmm! I am also very clearly sensitive to androgens despite normal T results, hence my hirsutism. It also took birth control for me to finally develop a feminine body at age NINETEEN despite starting my period and becoming hirsute at about 13 and developing acne before I was even 10? it makes me wonder.

My partner: 6'3 cis, bisexual man, most likely autistic, doesn't have much body or facial hair.

Here's something very interesting - his mother has had chronically low folate for YEARS and has symptoms despite supplementing? MTHFR mutation? He has had low folate himself in the past, but I believe it was due to poor dietary intake.

    Eczema, asthma, allergies.

I would describe him as a "pretty boy" kind of handsome. Regarding D/s, he is also a switch.

Neither of us have tried methylfolate yet.

I do wonder if we're the classic MPS couple that [..] describes, and that r/RoleReversal is potentially a hub full of people with MPS, as well as r/GNCStraight.
And then before I noticed they had a video titled 'male genocide' (obviously clickbait title lol, based on how most guys aren't reproducing.) And some of the comments pissed me off enormously but I'm not going to add that part of my rant back into this post lol.

So part of the reason I ended up watching their videos today lol is I actually had a dream about them last night but I don't remember most of the details about it now which is frustrating all I know is I woke up with this kind of vague sense of like .... Being attracted to Simone? There was a lot of other stuff going on and other people too I think but I don't remember most of it. I had this tiny laptop (netbook I guess,) at one point.

Uh he annoys the [BEEP] out of me lol. Well I disagree with both of them on many things but yeah.

They started talking about omegaverse in this video again. I haven't watched the whole video btw.

    "Women are house elves."

"They all really want to be submissive and serve their house."

"Why do omegas get pushed towards these pathways? Well it's because you're evolutionarily optimised for these pathways."

Lol she compared women to house elves in Harry Potter who didn't want to be freed. Even though the house elves are a metaphor for slaves. I've seen far right people make the argument that many slaves in the Atlantic slave trade didn't want to be freed.

"Women are house elves is maybe what you're saying?"

Then he talks about how a lot of women back in the day opposed suffrage saying it was a bad idea. Which is true many did. Although one antifeminist woman (Rachilde,) wrote books about men being feminised by masculine women and then spoilers: Spoiler: being killed and then the woman turning the dead feminised guy into her sex doll so kind of necrophilic, kind of defeatist among other books with less obvious role reversal. And lowkey identified as a man (referring to themselves as such on occasion and preferring the company of gay men.) Also disliked being a mother when she decided to do that. Spent more time focussing on her writing then parenthood. There's some nuance to who anti-feminist women were.

Rejected by her parents, who preferred their pet monkey to their own daughter, it was always clear that Rachilde would grow up to be an unconventional figure. Indeed, her view of gender arose from her self-proclaimed role as a solitary, subversive 'homme des lettres'. She strongly rejected any association with the traditional pillars of marriage and family entrenched in society. For her, being a 'writer' was paramount, transcending the need to identify with either masculinity or femininity. She distanced herself from organised movements of all stripes, and her ambiguous and apathetic stance toward feminism, as what she deemed a 'regressive movement beholden to bourgeois morality that has not enormously improved existence', in fact stemmed more from her pursuit of individualism than a wholesale rejection of feminist principles.
At this point most of the women in the far right are also women who are driven more by fucking over women than helping men even though they pretend to be helping men. They are, and even far right men have noticed, masculine women.

And everything I said in my previous post about the complete ignorance of the women who like the idea of topping.

"Women didn't have a philosophy because men wrote everything they just had some tradcon books telling women to find a guy they respect to rely on/support and folk religion and magic etc."

OK in the West but one of the first books was written by a Japanese woman and it was kind of.. Everyday is exactly the same. The Tale of Genji:

    https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.p...TheTaleOfGenji

The Tale of Genji (源氏物語; Genji Monogatari) is, by most modern definitions, the first written novel and the first modern novel. It is also the world's first long-running novel in the Harem Genre. Its authorship is attributed to Murasaki Shikibu, a noblewoman and lady-in-waiting of the Heian court; probably completed in the early 11th century, all tropes it provides are at least Older Than Print. While considered a Japanese and indeed worldwide classic, its influence on both Western and Eastern culture and literature are still not clearly defined and hotly debated.
Hikaru Genji (literally "Shining One of the Minamoto Clan") is the illegitimate son of Emperor Kiritsubo of Japan, and considered too handsome for his own good. After Genji's mother dies, his father reluctantly removes him from the line of succession and demotes him to commoner status. Genji takes up a job as an imperial officer, and the story follows his sexual, personal and political exploits through the lens of Heian aristocratic society.
Ethical Slut: Genji may have many, many affairs with different ladies, but at least he will support any woman he chooses to pursue, even if his interest in her fades.
Even the Guys Want Him: A few of the male characters imagine the beautiful Genji as a woman.
Everyone Is Bi: Several male characters are known to burst into tears upon seeing Genji, and Genji himself doesn't let a little thing like gender get in the way of his romantic pursuits. Of course, it should be noted that, at the time, attraction and love affairs between males - particularly if one or both of said males were physically attractive, as bishounen Genji was - were not especially scandalous, or even more noteworthy than a heterosexual affair (so long as certain social conventions were followed, like the requirement that the "passive" partner be a child or adolescent).
Edit: The bolded kills me. 草摩 由希 ? It's giving ✨

^ I honestly don't even remember this character from the manga (haven't watched any of the anime adaptations.) 'we haven't even had a chance to discuss our tastes in erotica' was this like a self insert character for the audience lmfao?

Anyway he has his own fanclub as well lol.

I still haven't read this book (Tale of Genji,) but I think if I had a time machine she would be one of the first people I'd visit. After becoming fluent in ancient Japanese. 下手が日本語

'what is the tai form of suru'

    したい ?

    勉強したい

Yeah I was like 勉強たい but then remembered it uses suru. That's like a whole thing. I don't remember the thing or many things but it's a thing.

    勉強したいに日本語 or 日本語を勉強したい

I don't know. I just made up the first sentence but Google translate said it was what I wanted it to be. I think the second way of putting it is probably correct though in terms of someone having ever said that. に is usually used for movement right?

    What are you saying AI?

    日本語を勉強するには、アプリやゲーム、日本語教室、テキストなどを使って学習することができます。
    アプリやゲーム

Apuriya game? Something about apps /games I guess. You can use apps/games to study Japanese. Can't read most of the rest of that lol.

To study Japanese, you can use apps, games, Japanese classes, textbooks, etc.
    OK.

Anyway I won't lol. Too lazy.

For hundreds of years in the West (if not loner - Freudian slip lol yes they were kind of loners. I meant longer though) men's philosophy was mostly written by men who never married/had children and gay men btw.

Look obviously some do want to live as traditional housewives but a lot don't, and that's fine. They're not 'being men' either by focussing on career. And many women focus on neither career (in a classic sense,) or men/family. Some women live in a house they built in the woods in Wales where they blessedly don't use social media at all. Her life must be amazing (and OK that's a pretty extreme niche but yeah.) When I say classic sense people bring up working in an office for a boss or something a lot but many people work for themselves soing creative things too which is very different.

Another point is 'female happiness is going down' some people prioritise other things besides happiness. That's assuming this has anything to do with what you think it's about in the first place.

Simone: "You're answering this question of why should an ambitious young woman have children in a very Malcolm way. Which is you don't answer the question and you just say what you want to say and you're not speaking to the audience. I can answer these questions speaking to the answer, I can speak their language."

Macolm: "Speak to the audience. Because you did it. You now have this life and you seem to like it and you find it more satisfying I think then the life you would have had."

Simone: "Yeah but I'm actually kind of cheating because who is actually making the money in this family?"

    Malcolm: "You."

Simone: "Who is actually controlling all the finances?"

    Malcolm: "You."

Simone: "Yeah that's kind of the problem. I'm not very trad wifey right?"

    As to the video title:

Can Women Be Convinced to Have Kids? (Probably not)
No you def can't. You definitely can't make women want to be submissive and traditional.

The best thing for men to do if they run out of willing tradwives would be to feminise themselves and be in a femme4femme (by straight standards not sapphic standards,) relationship with a feminine woman. Because when you run out of tradwives the feminine women just get gayer and gayer.

See (this is just a convinient example that exists lol)

No but liberal women are trying to build a chimera and you aren't it (this was all in response to some video that ended up on twitter of a woman saying that she wanted like a feminist guy who was sort of masculine or something I forget now but basically a mixture of traits):

These liberal women sound like they're concocting some hellish chimeric hybrid like something out of Greek mythology.

Part macho, part feminist, part pornstar.
This chick is a Lesbian. If she wants a Feminist-man, what she's actually requesting is a woman. Therefore, she's a Lesbian.
If only the male characters written by other women in romance novels existed.
    F@g hag
    They already have boyfriends. 🙄
^ there were a thousand comments like this.

If he does exist he is Dennis from Always sunny.
    Probably tbh.

She wants a gay man who is straight and owns a john deer. Sorry the magic 8 ball says no.
What is a John Deer? A tractor? That reminds me:

That's not my genre of gay straight man. Actually I prefer lesbian straight man (they have better hair,) but more power to her.

    You have lesbian straight men:

I didn't invent this either Tumblr is partly responsible for constantly calling skinny guys with great hair lesbians.

    And gay straight men:

^ debateable he was written by a gay man.

Right wing twitter try to be like Patrick Bateman but they'll never be autoandrophilic and book written by gay man, screenplay written by a lesbian enough to make it work.

OMG YES SOMEONE UPLOADED THIS WITHOUT THE VIDEO WHICH IS PROBABLY TOO BLOODY TO POST HERE:

    10/10 song.

You know? It makes sense. *gets dragged to mental hospital* no really.

I bet Lady Gaga knows where to find the guy she's looking for:

That twitter woman (actually tiktok woman technically,) should hang with her. If she doesn't know it's not possible.

Natasha Lyonne is a merry prankster:

For years, our community has speculated about Lyonne's sexuality, though she has identified as straight in the past. For years, our community has also felt personally wronged by Lyonne's straightness, given her role in legendary [BEEP] roles (and given how hot she looks in a suit). But now, our community is losing their minds over Lyonne's revealed mischievous "third category" identity. Naturally, the internet has blown up over the interview and the tweets did not disappoint.
Natasha Lyonne sexually identifying as mischievous changed my life actually
Whether or not Lyonne will elaborate on what merry prankster means remains to be seen, but iconicity rarely needs an explanation. Now if you'll excuse me, it's time to go watch But I'm A Cheerleader.
I don't know about Natasha but I think this was very gay of Sabrina:

    I won't be taking questions.

That's why she had to come out as straight lol:

    It's slim pickings
If I can't have the one I love
I guess it's you that I'll be kissin'
    Just to get my fixings
Since the good ones are deceased or taken
I'll just keep on moanin' and bitchin'

    Moanin' and bitchin'

Since the good ones call their exes wasted
And since the Lord forgot my gay awakenin'
Then I'll just be here in the kitchen
Servin' up some moanin' and bitchin'

    i just want a virgin slut 🤷*♂️
^ He says that like that isn't what a lot of men are really looking for lol.

White liberal women are more scary than any alt right winger. When I see women like this, I see the face of evil.
White liberal women need to be studied. You bitches are the most insane people alive.
Women are pretty great, except liberal white women. They are by far the most evil creatures on the planet.
Liberal white women are the real axis of evil in this country. Idiots
White liberal women are the most evil human beings on the face of the earth.

Someone needs to study you cunts.
Root of evil is white liberal women that are mentally ill.
I didn't make the rules annoying right wing American guys on twitter did and I think this is entertaining so most women are gay now. And well:

    https://counciloncj.org/womens-justice-by-the-numbers/

Women's contact with the criminal justice system has trended upward over the last several decades, while comparable figures for men have trended downward.
The share of female arrests is up in part due to trends in arrest rates for violent and drug crimes. In 2019, the women's arrest rate was 63% higher for violent crimes and 317% higher for drug crimes than in 1980.

The women's prison population is aging; 2022 imprisonment rates were 83% higher than in 2007 for older women (ages 60 to 64) and 62% lower for younger women (ages 20 to 24).

In 2016, 58% of the women in state and federal prisons were parents to minor children, compared to less than half of the men (47%).

Racial disparities in female imprisonment rates narrowed from 2000 to 2022. In 2022, the imprisonment rate was 69% lower for Black females, 18% lower for Hispanic females, and 18% higher for White females than in 2000.

Females released from state prison systems were less likely to recidivate than their male counterparts. By 2017, 63% of females released from 34 state prison systems in 2012 had been rearrested, compared to 72% of males.
I had to go back to find all those quotes in a post I made a long time ago and found this again. What a bop. This is like music + music video for the tiktok generation though lol:

Some women's (people's really,) life purpose is sadistically fucking with right wing men and scaring the hoes (right wing men) and I think that makes just as much sense as any other life purpose. It gives those right wing men an enemy to unite against so their life has purpose.

Somewhere here I lost the point of what I was saying and it also doesn't matter.

I think right wing men on twitter would be better if they were written by gay men and lesbian women. Bronze Age Pervert tried to write them but it didn't really work. Because he's a closeted bisexual.

I mean, it's still a bit more expensive than the ?24 Vodafone were offering, but, I honestly CBA with the faff of switching supplier. Also, Vodafone have rubbish reviews.

"Star Trek" was always groundbreaking in diverse casting and pushing the boundaries; the original series had a pointedly multinational crew without people of color being stereotyped, and most famously even interracial kisses were featured on occasion. The next generation was not quite so daring when it premiered in 1987,
One form of representation not already explored in the original series was absent, however: gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgender people.
Still, an LGBT character could have been introduced to the main cast at any time, yet seven seasons of "The Next Generation" passed without any such representation being included. [...] Clear to 2005, when Star Trek went off the airwaves for the first time since before "Encounter at Farpoint" in 1987, there was no LGBT representation at all. Retrospectives attribute this to Rick Berman's influence as showrunner for the vast majority of this time period; apparently he did not wish there to be LGBT characters, thus making this entire era of Star Trek far more conservative than it had any right to be.
It is a bit weird. It was certainly relatively normal to explore stuff like that in science fiction in general, though maybe not on TV as much until further into the 90s. I mean Ursula K Le Guin's work The Left Hand of Darkness wasn't about LGBT people or aliens but explored gender and sexuality:

The Left Hand of Darkness was among the first books in the genre now known as feminist science fiction and is described as the most famous examination of androgyny in science fiction.[8] A major theme of the novel is the effect of sex and gender on culture and society, explored in particular through the relationship between Ai and Estraven, a Gethenian politician who trusts and helps Ai. When the book was first published, the gender theme touched off a feminist debate over the depiction of the ambisexual Gethenians. The novel also explores the interaction between the unfolding loyalties of its two main characters, the loneliness and rootlessness of Ai, and the contrast between the religions of Gethen's two major nations.
I'm sure they did explore this a bit in TNG although maybe it was a later series? I remember some episode where a character changed gender at one point (not Human,) and another character who was in love with them explained that they couldn't continue to reciprocate because essentially Humans weren't enligetened enough to see past gender but maybe one day would be or something like that.

If I google it it just comes up with an episode involving Riker but I swear it was a female character so I don't know. This doesn't sound like that episode either in general so clearly they did explore this a few times but just weren't willing to involve actual Human characters...

Riker enters into a dangerous liaison with a member of the androgynous J'naii race, who considers herself to only have one gender, a crime in J'naii society.
I want to know what that episode was though I don't think I imagined it but everything I search doesn't bring it up and I'm really sure it wasn't this one though it sounds interesting.

While the pair is charting the null space, the shuttle is damaged, and Soren is injured. While being treated by Dr. Crusher, Soren asks her several questions about female gender identification. While Soren and Riker work on the shuttle, Soren confesses that she is attracted to Riker and states that she has a female gender identity. Soren explains that the J'naii are an androgynous species that view the expression of any sort of male or female gender, and especially sexual liaisons, as a sexual perversion. According to their official doctrine, the J'naii had evolved beyond gender and thus view the idea of male/female sexuality as primitive. Those among the J'naii who view themselves as possessing gender are ridiculed, outcast, and forced to undergo "psychotectic therapy" - a form of conversion therapy meant to remediate gender-specificity and allow acceptance back into J'naii society.[2]
The episode was met with both praise and criticism from the LGBT community. In the case of the latter, criticism came from people who felt that it sanctioned the Spoiler: brainwashing therapy to which Soren was subjected, and others who felt that the creative staff abdicated their responsibility to explore the issue. Some thought the episode too timid, using allegory in lieu of explicitly acknowledging gay relationship, while others critiqued the scenario of a genderless world where heterosexuality was persecuted as the epitome of conservative fears.[4]
They might have intended it as an metaphor but in a very literal sense it's actually an agender asexual world where being male or female is considered wrong. And ironically that's how it would be taken today by conservatives who freak out about pronouns. So I guess it's aging well?

It's really going to bug me that I can't find the episode I'm thinking of lol but I cba to keep searching. Aside from knowing it wasn't part of the original series (which I never watched at all,) I can't say much about it with certainty or who the characters were involved were but I thought it might be a female character on TNG. This sounds similar but upon further research it doesn't seem to be this:

In the "Star Trek: The Next Generation" episode titled "The Host", Beverly Crusher falls in love with a shapeshifting alien named Odan, a Trill ambassador who can inhabit different host bodies, essentially making him a shapeshifter; this relationship becomes complicated when she discovers his true nature after he is mortally wounded.
At a convention in the 1990s, Michael Dorn mocked the episode as being a ripoff of Anne Rice's The Witching Hour.[citation needed]
    OK? lol.

Anyway yeah I have no idea.

Captain Picard worked so well as a stoic, chaste, and, yes, straight type that I would never want to tamper with his sexuality much. Jonathan Frakes's Riker worked as a Kirk-esque womanizer a bit too well for me to want to change that dynamic either, [...]

Data of course barely even has a sexuality, and he represents a character arc that's straight out of classic science fiction: the confrontation between an artificial life-form and humanity. As such, layering an alternative sexuality on his character would perhaps portray it as strange or deviant in some way in subtext, and frankly is a bit too much representational baggage to saddle on the character anyway. [...]

Worf has the same issue: being a Klingon raised by humans confronting that culture at once as an insider and an outsider is enough to place on his character. [...]

You could portray a higher degree of bisexuality as something of a Klingon custom, and Worf could have indulged in it, but once again it portrays through subtext alternative sexualities as something weird and deviant, in this case literally alien.
Geordi La Forge too already has some representational baggage, in his case that of disabled people.
You know people can be disabled and gay right lol? Like people shouldn't see it as being 'too much' that's a bit fucked up. I'm subscribed to a YouTuber who is deaf, a lesbian, and has some other condition as well I forget. It might even be common since atypical traits tend to cluster for genetic and hormonal reasons. Like how a lot of people with alternative sexualities or who are trans/non-binary are also autistic.

Klingons are kind of hypermasculine so having a gay Klingon character would have been interesting.

There's Tasha Yar, but making her a lesbian or bisexual would be just a bit too stereotypical for a (no offense intended) rather butch-seeming lady, and in the real show she was Spoiler: killed off unceremoniously midway through the first season.
So? The repsentation of butch characters on TV is very slim and there's a reason stereotypes exist because they represent a group that's common. The part where she was Spoiler: killed off would make it fall into the common Spoiler: bury your gays trope though.

Deanna Troi being lesbian, or perhaps better yet, bisexual might have been the most obvious angle, but Betazoids (even half-Betazoids like her; for some reason they decided to make her half-human) are already stereotyped as being sensual.
Yeah OK I never really watched the show much besides a handful of episodes when I was a child and teenager and reruns came on TV but I think you probably could have made her and Tasha sapphic and then hooked them up. Or Beverly Crusher could have come out since it's kind of a common theme for older women who already have kids to come out as lesbians or bisexual like Elvira and Cynthia Nixon. This is in a hypothetical future that shouldn't care much too meaning some people would likely come out earlier although I think women coming out later is just as often because of sexual fluidity as concern about judgement.

I think that's also why they never wanted to cover the topic because it was impacted by politics of that time that wouldn't make much sense in universe and they probably knew it wouldn't age well.

I agree that Riker would never work as not straight though given it's a large part of his character.

Oh wait I just found another website so it was The Host episode after all lol? I found a script earlier and couldn't find that part but tbf it didn't seem to be the entire episode in the script:

Instead, Dr. Crusher was able to fall in love with a parasitic life-form and have a physical connection with the body of "someone she considered a brother" but ended things when the life form's new host body was female. Then, she blamed it on humanity's shortcomings, without acknowledging bisexuality. On top of that, the episode reeks of transphobia which, while perhaps more accepted in the 90s when there was a lack of transgender representation across media, was no less offensive and harmful. Many people in relationships transition and stay partnered because their romantic partners love them not their gender. And those who don?t stay through their partner?s transition don?t blame it on humanity -- they acknowledge they aren't bisexual, or pansexual.
I more took that to mean Humans generally can't avoid being superficial. There are bisexual people who also break up with their trans partners because they're not attracted to them anymore.

Also it's not just about physical appearence but because many trans people's voice changes in a way that you don't necessarily find attractive or they change a bunch of other stuff about themselves occasionally regarding interests and such (I think that's becoming less common these days but historically people would try to fit in a lot more.) Here's a good historical example:

    She stopped painting, because she considered that it was a job that she did like Einar Wegener, and like Lili, as a woman, with a new identity, she was no longer interested in continuing to paint;
This makes no sense to me btw but I think it's something that's more common for trans women (historically anyway.) But if you go back to before the 90s queer/gay trans guys (who usually are more feminine,) didn't even transistion really. Nowadays trans guys are just like "I'm going to be 100% feminine [BEEP] you" and then have a war about it within the trans masc community like a post I made recently and then deleted because it was kind of harsh lol but I find these guys irritating:

Yeah I know, plenty of them play [BEEP] like Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, etc. And I've actively searched for other transguys with male hobbies and unless they're truscum, they very rarely have them. I'm not going to argue with you or anyone else though about male hobbies versus female hobbies because I know in 2024 if a dude plays Nail Painting Simulator then obviously the game was 100% marketed for cis man too even though we know the opposite reality. But ultimately this is why half the community can't relate to the other half because one half is actually assimilating and the other side are femboys or whatever the [BEEP] you wanna call these buzzwords.

I live in one of the highest and most accepting places for trans people to be open and proud. You're delusion if you think I've only seen these people online when I'm near two of the biggest [BEEP] capitals in arguable the US.
Binary transsexual man with Traditional values
A lot of transguys actively dress feminine, never develop any male hobbies or friendships. It's genuinely one of those things where you have to lowkey hold their hand and teach them how to be a man but they love being "boys" for some reason. The minute I ask another transguy half the time if he fucks with video games he looks at me like I just spoke Chinese. Yet I've never met a cis guy who I couldn't talk to about games for example.
lol yes, gaming, the pinnacle of maleness.
    🤣 killed me.

Weird take. Yes hunting is male dominated. But in general [...] is correct.

Gaming absolutely is male dominated when you talk about the biggest and most popular games. Fortnite, COD, nearly all male.

The vast majority of female gamers play causal games on their phone, and even when they do play on console or PC it's games like the sims.

Nearly all cis men like shooter games.

Pretty much every cis male between 5 and 45 have bonded with other male friends over online shooters.

But it's really hard to find other trans men who like shooters let alone seriously play shooters. I've only met 2 trans guys that can go positive in my nearly 20 year quest to find other trans men to play COD with.

Yet every class I had, every job, every brother of every girlfriend, random guys at parties, dam near every guy has played cod or another shooter and the vast majority can go positive.
Am I the only one that rarely sees trans women even being mentioned in this sub?

Anti masculinity definitely is a problem in the trans community though.
Im with you im tired of the same crying over and over and I would like as a trans man have a place to talk about stuff, beers manybe, gym, hobbies but aparently "im too toxic" or overcompensating or whatever when I just like male stuff since im a guy and im not interested in queerness and other stuff
Plus I hate when the fools than ask questions cause they never grew up around males and have no idea and a trans girl gives them advice they have massive meltdowns. Like dude the ones than had been actually cool had been the trans girls not with teen girl drama like the trans mascs
you can just talk about gym stuff on ftm fitness

also who goes to any male subreddit to talk about? beer?
I'm non-binary and I'm reasonably feminine but also not as feminine as some trans guys I've come across or that they are complaining about in some ways (I haven't medically transistioned though so they still hate me haha,) but it's still so pathetic to me when they turn it into some weird competition. Especially when they bring up stuff like 'I played video games that aren't for girls.' Who the [BEEP] hasn't played Fallout 3 or something at some point? One time I had a sixth form teacher ask me if I was in the right place and if I was studying fashion design because of my alternative clothing when I was studying a software development course. I'm white and phenotypically female and the class was mostly South Asian with a couple of white guys, a couple of black guys, 2-3 South Asian female students depending on the year. I generally find guys like this to be quite misogynistic (their behaviour contributes to experiences like I had in sixth form,) and no surprises one of those trans guys was gay either - it's a common problem in certain subsets of the gay male community.

Progressive people do often have issues with either men and/or masculinity though but it often comes from negative experiences regarding devaluation of femininity among other things.

    Like that guy said before:

So this seems to be the answer: the framework for transmasculine identity is that of existing as a shadow. It is banishment from any existing framework, giving trans men two options: either pass and assimilate so seamlessly that you uphold cis manhood in your attempts to achieve it, or be swept away and disposed of so you don't pose a threat. The former kind of trans men make up the large subset of self-described "truscum" and "transmedicalist" trans men, who view themselves as nothing but cis men embarrassingly born without a penis. These types often pass easily and transition young, and are very stereotypically masculine. The latter are, by definition, unseen. The closest thing to a figure of this type is the "Tumblr SJW" stereotype, who are more often depicted as AFAB nonbinary people than trans men. This may account for the proliferation of transmasculine people who, despite initially identifying as trans men and having relatively binary transitions, later proclaim themselves to be nonbinary in an attempt to distance themselves from patriarchy; the type of transmasculine people who scorn men and manhood while pursuing transition actively and presenting as male for simplicity. (Note that this is not to say that AFAB nonbinary people who transition do not exist; it is simply an observation on previously-identified trans men that declare themselves not men for clearly political reasons.) This is actually not necessary to circumvent patriarchy - on the contrary, it only reinforces manhood as concrete, oppressive, and cis. This framework, however, is collapsing. As more and more trans men assert ourselves and our manhood, it becomes more difficult to deny alternative ways of being a man. Patriarchy and manhood cannot maintain themselves without adapting to the loss of chromosomal and reproductive markers of manhood, leaving trans masculinity as the only way out. The realization of the shadow is assured; you cannot declare something imaginary forever.
    Lol:

Vampiric transmasculinity is a joke or theory (you decide) born from discussions with [...] on the subject of these transsexual vampires. The main idea is that a trans vampire's bite would stimulate endocrine function, allowing the vampire to get hormones alongside whatever nutrition blood provides. What is interesting is that, while a bitten cis woman would not experience much abnormal from an estrogen-stimulating bite, a transmasculine vampire's target would likely be feminized. An excess of testosterone in the body is aromatized, a process which transforms it into estrogen. This may result in some form of feminization, like minor breast development. (This is what happens to Big Bob in Fight Club.) In the context of trans vampires, this means the targeted cis man goes through feminization, while the transmasculine vampire benefits from his dose of testosterone. On a broader scale, this is the future of manhood: trans men achieving masculinity as cis men lose it, in an almost vampiric exchange.
I'm sure this fits in somewhere though I haven't watched this video yet (I just got suggested this video while writing this post):

I love how everyone's insane. Except when I hate it.

It annoys a lot of people actually:

So anyway if any of those things are important to your attraction (interests, body language, vocal mannerisms,) it would be an issue.

Troi is already there to be a love interest for the male guest stars (as well as to have someone for the straight women in the audience to identify with). Crusher had a few romances with men over the course of the show, but deleting them wouldn't alter her characterization much.
You can't have a character that is both designed as a love interest for male characters and one that straight women will identify with. Not easily anyway. Sort of like how every male character men like is rarely the character on the show women tend to be most attracted to.

Very unintuitive and counter productive for a species that somehow has managed to reproduce to the point of there being billions wandering around presently but there you go.

Wesley Crusher is the remaining member of the main cast [...] It would be realistic in as much as LGBT orientation tends to run in families to some extent?
Having multiple generations would have gone over really poorly though it's not unheard of. Anecdotally I can think of a bunch of cases I've heard about including people I've talked to online and YouTubers etc. I think having a underage gay character would have gotten a lot of backlash too.

I'm not sure when the first underage gay character in TV/film popped up. One of the first I can think of was the film But I'm a Cheerleader but that was like right at the end in 1999 but I think it wasn't released in the US until 2000 and the UK till 2021.

When it was initially rated as NC-17 by the MPAA, Babbit made cuts to allow it to be re-rated as R. When interviewed in the documentary film This Film Is Not Yet Rated, she criticized the MPAA for discriminating against films with homosexual content. While the film has developed a cult following since its release, it was not well received by conservative critics of the time, who compared it unfavorably to the films of John Waters and criticized the colorful production design. The lead actors were praised for their performances, but some of the characters were described as stereotypical.

The fear of pregnancy is mostly unfounded within developed countries. Mortality of mothers is less than 1% yet the fear mongering around it is constant.
Childbirth fear is absolutely what we know is for sure a real reason to not wanting to. It's a horrific torture of pain. And every woman who has given birth knows it. It's humiliating and very disgusting. But everyone gushes as if it was a miracle. Who are you mothers who lie to your daughters about the pain. You all say you forget it. No you don't.
02% mortality but that number is inflated to include up to one year after birth. If anyone is worried about anything, serious complications is a much higher rate 13% tho even that isn?t clear what that means and if it is inflated.
It's only men who I see dismissing the complications and difficulties of childbirth and also the workload of raising kids. Even pronatalist women will often not do this because on average women take on most of those responsibilities, most housework even if the dad is in the picture.

Women who have almost died or experienced the various longterm negative side effects will generally have the opinion that artificial wombs would be a good thing (like Grimes) and/or use surrogates if rich (also like Grimes after her first kid, Paris Hilton and so on.)

You are not remotely convincing lol.

Sorry to hear that, that is very sad. It is dangerous but most things usually are, modern life is just easier. Also childbirth is absolutely necessary. It?s like agriculture in its level of significance. If we don?t eat or have children, there is no society or life, only death.
There isn't really a society in many places for many people when it comes to community. Even the guy in this YouTube video admits to only talking and trying to befriend people who are influential to him and likely to further his power and career etc. Otherwise he has his wife to talk to. He sees no point in friendship and most relationships are transactional for him.

Many people do not want kids to live in such a world. Growing up in the broken education system being abused by other kids and even teachers in some cases. That's just the beginning.

Going into this my main question isn't "how to convince her to have kids". As most women I have dated wanted kids. It's how to convince them to go for a proper amount of kids, not just two.
A proper amount lol. You are lucky if she'll have two honestly.

My grandma was talking about this at Christmas how she was one of like 11-13 kids I always forget how many and then her mum was too but she had the most kids in her family I think she said with 5 kids and how things are different.

Her mum died when she was like 11 btw as she was the youngest and having so many kids is a huge strain.

Well so is the world. You only have kids for yourself now because most people don't care about most people.

I have also met many US religious women who want to have kids, but they weren?t willing to sacrifice anything, in fact they wanted to marry a very wealthy man to take care of them and their children. They expected someone who could just buy a house, they can quit their job and still have sufficient disposable income to hire cleaning and child care employees. These women weren?t from wealthy families, their parents met young and relatively poor.
If you say so. I think many were just so poor and worse off than their parents that they don't want to bring children into a cycle of downward mobility. They believe life will be worse for their kids and good luck convincing them otherwise.

They have to hire people because they no longer have family or friends who can occasionally help and co-parent as would happen in less individualistic cultures. This support structure is very important incentivewise and probably instinctual. It's only in modern WEIRD cultures that people are so removed to not realise why women are requiring that.

If the 'elites' really care they'll do something about it or perish.

In a very real sense the birth rate collapsing is a protest against every civilisation it happens in.

I was hoping you would cover this topic in an episode. I recently realized, while talking to a lot of my female friends, that most of them don?t have a strong aversion to having children, but they are terrified of being pregnant.

The same applies to my fiancee. She never wanted kids, but after discussing it with her, she agreed to have four if we use surrogacy because she?s absolutely terrified and disgusted by the idea of being pregnant.

Would you consider doing an episode in the future on why so many women fear pregnancy and how to overcome it?
I don't think they should overcome it. I think people should devote more effort to building artificial wombs.

Man, that's quite a question from the male side (no offence, i understand you cannot imagine it to its fullness)... pain, complications, possible bodily changes that would be permanent + disgust from that on subjective personal level and fear of partner finding you disgusting (many do, they just don't tell, but show and it's very painful for female partner), loss of attractiveness. I'd also add extreme aversion from breastfeeding, because, as Simone said,... it's like being a cow, absolutely repulsive.
on the part of attractiveness: that's very beautiful if you do, not all people are like that. The reaction might be unforeseeable, the same goes for husbands who badly wanted to feel close to their wives but just lost all the appeal. Google how much that's a problem to faithful conservative ones, I'm not speaking about forever urban liberal bros. Hopefully in the pronatalist future it's all be gone.

On the part of breastfeeding. I'm not American and was never in that sort of american-culture orbit. I grew up in an Eastern European village. Breastfeeding has been always repulsive to me and I know lots of women around when the topic comes up, it's irrespective of any cultural internalization
they're all blind and deaf to it, even when lots of women talk about it. The dream of 'omg I find my wife's stretchmarks so beautiful!!' is simply... a dream and an extreme outlier. You cannot predict anything in that regard and those guys who ignore all these factors are simply appalling. That's quite a problem of a pronatalist movement scaling, because... well, I could believe that for most of them it's just like that, very mechanistic, almost zero empathy, not their bodies literally
Sure yeah. You can't lie to most people in this way lol.

Part of the reason some people fetisihise breastfeeding is because its taboo. Most fetishes are based on taboo, fear and disgust.

I find this idea that the old middle class men controlled everything amusing. I was raised poor/working class by a grandmother, literally from what is now the southern end of the SMNP, and had a 9 month old at 19 when the stock market crashed in 1929, who ran the meager finances in her house, my grandfather gave her is pay each week. My aunt, her oldest, ran the finances of her household. She had selected and married her husband at 15 in 1944. As she remarked once, "I had all the equality I could handle, I went to work every day, just like my husband".

Both were my female role models as a boy growing up. Feminism really has been a middle class problem.
That kind of culture where women control finances exists still in parts of East and South East Asia but not in the West. Consequently guys just get into gambling debt etc especially working class and lower middle class guys who are often more impulsive and less conscientious so people grow up not respecting them.

This didn't have a big impact on me luckily because we weren't that poor to start with but my dad still had issues with gambling and was having these compulsive spending issues and buying stuff with the plan to sell but failing to do that. I think he's better at this now and is making back some money on ebay but who knows. My parents are seperated. Luckily also my mum had a decent job eh? Could have been a bigger issue. It was enough of an issue that they had to have a conversation about it with me and my brother (which I'm not entirely sure you should do with your kids in hindsight it's a bit like discussing your relationship problems and I was like 10 maybe? And then there were the relationship problems too that I was aware of and couldn't talk about.) He was dealing with trauma too.

He didn't want kids apparently (though changed his mind after we were born,) that was my mum's idea. Also to get married. I will never make that mistake lol.

Some women in the West have this issue too of course cause our culture is especially fucked and status driven and hypercompetitive lol so they develop compulsive shopping issues which are more common with women. And also the increasing rate of conditions like ADHD and mass exploitation with gambling places everywhere in poor areas (though my dad did this online anyway,) but yeah.

I'm sure crypto is going to be another of these things. You can see guys in prison talking about it even in this video. He warns him about it and you can tell hes the first person who ever did:

Will work out for the few and then tons of less intelligent people will lose money by doing this. Fine if you don't have dependants.

Over half (51%) of those who have invested in cryptocurrencies have done so because they think it?s fun and thrilling. But we know that the addictive nature of gambling can cause harm to many, and our data also revealed that 43% of respondents agreed that investment products can be addictive. At the same time, Gamcare have reported a rise in the number of people asking for help with problems related to day trading*(Link to the relevant page on Gamcare website (opens in new tab))*leading to a call for a self-exclusion scheme for consumers involved in high-risk trading. Gamcare?s most recent research has found that those who have experienced serious gambling harms are more likely to experience negative impacts when trading*(Link to the relevant page on Gamcare website (opens in new tab)).

It's possible some consumers are turning to other products in an unregulated trading market to get the same thrill that they get from products which they are banned from or have excluded themselves from in the regulated gambling market. But despite numerous warnings from the FCA around the risks of investing in cryptocurrencies, it is evident a large number of UK adults are willing to take that risk. Our data has shown a link between investing in such products and problem gambling and we will reflect on the findings highlighted in this blog and use them to inform future work in relation to cryptocurrencies.
I think this is an overlooked aspect of the whole thing.

I am one of these women that absolutely does not want kids. The first major reason being that, no offence at all to those that find it all wonderful and beautiful, the idea of pregnancy and birth utterly mortifies and disgusts me. It's less about actual pain, because as Simone mentioned that can be mitigated well. The whole thing just massively grosses me out. They showed us a birth video in high school and I was like two seconds late in closing my eyes and the sight of that just grossed and weirded me out like nothing else since. There is no way on this Earth I will ever, for any reason be doing that. I shudder to think it still. And pregnancy and pregnant women just gross me out (sorry, SImone I can't help it) and obviously I never have, and never would, show that in any way if I am around one. I felt that way when my mom was pregnant with my much younger sister. That has been the case for decades and I just don't see how it would ever change. Newborns also kinda gross me out. Not older kids. I want, but can't have a dog because I can't do the poop thing without wanting to puke. I've tried. Changing diapers would be utterly beyond me. I can imagine how I might sound batshit crazy to someone like Simone who loves babies and being pregnant, believe me. But it is what it is.

But even if all that was not the case, the second major reason being that I have terrible genetics and I feel strongly that knowingly and willingly inflicting them on an innocent child is cruel and evil. The third reason is that I am basically asexual anyway so, there is no way for that pregnancy to happen.I really don't see how I could ever be convinced to have biological kids. It ain't happening. I am not opposed to adopted kids (age four and up), theoretically, but I would have to be fairly certain I would have the ability to protect those kids from the physical 💉🍔 and psychological 🏳*⚧ poisons the monoculture/woke/pHARMa cult will try very hard to inflict on them. Homeschool, avoid any more toxic injections than the ones they (being adopted) were already injected with, feeding them proper food etc. Once I have freed myself from the clutches of that life to a sufficient degree, I wouldn't be opposed to adopted kids necessarily, but I don't feel any need. I love the family I have and I don't want or need any other.

I agree with the pro-natalist argument in a general sense, for the good of society and all. But it's most definitely not something I can contribute to.
Lol this is another ironic aspect. You can see this woman had the low status conspiracy conservative low disgust tolerance personality from her comments about vaccines and being trans etc (and her extreme disgust,) and it actually ends up decreasing the birth rate in many cases especially if irreligious and lacking certain cultural norms. Edit: OK you can't see because of the formatting regarding emojis on this forum lol but basically she included a trans flag emoji because she obviously has issues with that.

This is somewhat by design btw as most pronatalists are eugenicists and don't want certain groups reproducing really. They want to increase the birth rate among certain groups and not others, and some will make that clear and others will be slightly more tactical. This couple are openly elitist too.

They don't really want single parents, LGBT+ parents (especially gay male couples or trans,) some of them don't want people using surrogacy but those are the more conservative ones. They don't want economically unproductive people reproducing, or people who are unsuccessful in that area they want people with careers who don't want kids to have kids. Some are also terrified of technophobic people who believe their religion is the only right one and see them as the ultimate enemy that they hope AI will save them from after they get rid of the 'urban monoculture' who they believe are protecting them from the hyper religious by converting young people from those groups but they think there's a limit to that. Probably genetically. And that conservative religious people are becoming immune.

Anyway what fun. I totally don't get why no one is convinced by people who sound like comic book villains and want to buy islands for rich people. And buy countries.

I'm forced to conclude that pronatalists function much like The Good Place if you've seen that TV show.

I doubt it's a conspiracy in that way though - it's just you're inside the global culture.

Maybe some of these guys should widen their search to include women who are a little older, like 27-34 or even 35. These women will have been out in the world and discovered that being a single "career" woman is not as glamorous and fun as they thought. They will also be facing their biological time clocks, which still creates the urge to procreate in some women.

Although they won't on average be able to have as many kids as women in their early 20's, they could most likely have 3 or more - even several more, and that's a lot more than the nothing-burger many men will get if they focus exclusively on the early-20's women in the woke undergrad-graduate bubble.
Most of the men are waiting too long and aging themselves out. Keep in mind most women are attracted to men who are about 4 years older than themselves, no more. I know men who waited to their mid 30s then failed horribly. I really do not know anyone in that age range dating women younger than 28.
Men are told they can have kids at any age without the small print (if you're very rich or capable of exploitative casual sex and creating lots of single mums but most don't fall into either of those groups.)

A more machivalean approach if you're cute and want a lot of kids is while 20ish to marry a woman in her late 20s to mid 30s especially 30-35 and have kids then in your 40s-50s if you have the money you can try and get a younger woman as by then your kids you had at 20 ish will be mostly grown up and you will statistically already be divorced anyway.

Of course a more common course of action is just having casual relationships, accumulating wealth and then settling down later with a younger woman (how much younger varies. though tbh.) This ends up wasting some women's time so especially in the case of succesful men they are now being accused of all kinds of things for not committing.

Like entire groups of women teaming up on them lol. One woman said "I'm not alone anymore" which was such a great way for the article about that incident to end lol. All through it I noticed a pattern of women who initially assumed this guy wanted more but then realised he didn't and either tried to distance themselves or desperately tried to avoid abandonment (as I said in another post one woman seemed to have BPD symptoms.) Their feelings and experiences varied but when hearing other people discuss things were happy to add on their story because realistically they'd been low-key pissed off and uncomfortable for some time about it.

This group of women accusing the guy of various stuff had finally given her a sense of community. The last woman had serious abandonment issues and in cases like that the tolerance is even lower. That I think along with the woman before and the fact he kept trying to pay these women for therapy and to keep their mouths shut finally was the last straw where as others probably would have just moved on if not for them.

Not very hard either since most of those guys are very machivalean so have skeletons + borderline or criminal behaviour.

But yeah most guys aren't ready to have kids in young adulthood either. The insane idea that you're going to find a hot 20 year old woman who wants kids lol. None of the guys do after all at that age.

Something similar but illegal and messed up is happening with school teachers and their teenage students. Or it's being talked about a lot more in the US. There are lots of stories especially female teachers. Some of them getting pregnant too... Also often women cheating on their husbands who aren't satisfying them instead of the mature thing of getting divorced although at the point you're breaking the law to do it you've sort of lost the plot and were making bad decisions anyway.

This isn't taken very seriously culturally because "where was she when I was younger (tm)" and that's how you have teenage boys paying child support.

No really. The US is insane:

    KANSAS, CALIFORNIA CASES

The most well-known case was of a Kansas boy who, at age 13, impregnated his 17-year-old baby-sitter. Under Kansas law, a child under the age of 15 is legally unable to consent to sex. The Kansas Supreme Court in 1993 ruled that he was liable for child support.
At any rate lots of guys don't want kids in the first place and this is bizarrely left out of the conversation. Everyone assumes its just women lol no men don't want kids either.

Back in previous generations (and prob still now ) women would lie about being on the pill or mysteriously get pregnant anyway (I know it sometimes happens especially if you don't use contraception properly which is also a common problem and Whoopie Goldberg had 6 abortions due to contraception nor working for her for whatever reason but yeah.)

When I turned against the way I was raised and decided to have kids, it was initially based on the idea that not having kids was ultimately losing the game, and I hate losing. Also, as a slightly misanthropic environmental, the idea of leaving the planet exclusively to people who seem to be too stupid to take care of it was incredibly distressing.

I've tried these arguments on other liberal urban women and it seems to have a little traction - it might work better coming from a man though. I picture a constellation of natalist arguments for everyone - have kids to save the planet, promote your ideology, live forever, make more people like yourself, heal your trauma, repent for your sins, detox, etc etc.
Yes this works very well on high status psychopaths and narcissists (it's certainly more influential to me for that reason. I'm not high status though but also not a good person lol though ultimately I think more about how fun and excitable young kids are everything is new and fun to them and teaching them stuff, not so much as teenagers lol,) but not so much others necessarily. I remember a guy who said he wanted kids in uni (unlike many men and his peers,) because its winning from an evo-psych perspective to pass on genes. That was my first interaction I suppose with one of that bubble. He was a nerd with a superiority complex too of course. Just the type lol.

Also kind of metrosexual. I had a crush on him at some point because he was reasonably intelligent and sophisticated and one time I saved him from a spider that freaked him out which is cute. But he was very judgmental and it always rubbed me the wrong way. He also was weirdly trad in some ways and kept insisting I should wear more dresses and seemed miffed that I wanted to pay when we went out to eat or that he was trying to walk close to the road.

I think he had this idea of himself as this romantic gentleman and he wanted to be in a relationship in general so that he could play the role more than attraction to specific people.

At the time I didn't realise he and others I met then would be of relevance psychologically as a microcosm of cultural trends I see on a large scale and within elite tech bro cultures.

This was in the early 2010s btw. Not that that was the beginning of the problem surely as American Psycho was around long before for a reason. I live in the UK of course but similar attitudes may be found. My degree was also in a nerdy tech-adj subject though a bit more creative.

Great video as always. I've been looking into the claim (from an earlier video) that the TFR of Muslim populations drops off a cliff past a certain threshold of development, and I almost immediately found the counterexample of Emirati women in the United Arab Emirates - one of the most developed countries on earth by HDI.

Although the TFR of the UAE is well below replacement rate, every study I've been able to read on the topic suggests a skewing of data based on the large expatriate population in the UAE. To illustrate the extent of this phenomenon, a 2018 article from "The Khaleej Times" quotes from a Dubai Health Authority report from 2017, finding that the TFR of Emirati nationals in Dubai was 3.8, while the TFR of non-nationals was 1.3.

Would love to see a comparative investigation of the few "highly developed" countries on earth with an expanding citizen population - namely Israel and the UAE!
These weird small elite bubbles are an exception and can't really be replicated. Non representative. The population in these bubbles tends to be a lot richer and/or have higher rates of female PhDs and such. It's the eusocial side of Humanity where the elites reproduce more.

You will see surrogacy start to skew things too. One woman in Russia has 25 odd kids and is aiming for 100 by surrogate. She had one herself with her body. Her husband went to prison for some white collar crimes I think so that's been put on hold lol. She has an army of toddlers all basically the same age of course being raised by paid help.

    Eusocial.

Honestly thinking about it The Good Place really is a genius piece of television. Trying to avoid spoilers but the surrealness and sense of something being wrong is exactly what it feels like here (on Earth or at least Western culture.)

I'm sure I'll have more thoughts about this later.

I think it's the same vibe that led to simulation theory and gnosticism though (with archons keeping you here.) Well The Good Place was probably inspired by Gnosticism since a lot of works (especially recently) have been. The Matrix definitely was.

I watched that show years ago lol but I just rewarched some clips recently on YouTube so it's been on my mind.

    "Looksmaxxing for women"

Isn't that just instagram? Does it even need a funky name like that when it's just the status quo for most women lol?

No I think I know what this is about. There's a lot of women floating around like this now it's basically like designed to spite/abuse men.

When you realise these psychopaths are who the redpill guys are dating lol you realise why they're stuck in a never ending feedback loop.

But more specifically what these people (men and women,) usually do is to they charge heterosexual people to teach them how to abuse the opposite sex. But they don't tell you that obviously lol. It's self improvement.

On the surfact it looks like overpriced self help that only a moron or someone very desperate would buy and then it's actually even worse than that most of the time. Somehow.

I'm not talking about the specific examples in this video I haven't finished watching but in general what I've seen.

I've been saying this for years: I could be a millionaire in six months. All it takes is not having a conscience.
Mm I think at the very least most people could make more money than they are online by simply having no standards. Sucks.

Including Logan or whatever his name is "Something Paul" in that thumbnail is wild lol. But there are a lot of tech bros in that sphere of course.

Brianna Wu annoys me lol. Please don't bring her up. Everytime I forget about her existance again... I didn't like her back during gamergate either though as she's always been hypocritical and had this same attitude most people just didn't notice because she said she was getting harassed.

I doubt Elon was trying to do a nazi salute. I think he was just captured in an awkward moment while moving. It's besides the point and a distraction of an argument though as he passively agrees with all kinds of batshit tweets on twitter including antisemitic conspiracy theories:

    That's the rest:

    Okay.

Jewish communties have been pushing the exact kind of dialectical hatred against whites that they claim to want people to stop using against them.

I'm deeply disinterested in giving the tiniest [BEEP] now about western Jewish populations coming to the disturbing realization that those hordes of minorities that support flooding their country don't exactly like them too much.

You want truth said to your face, there it is.
This is an interesting observation to him:

In reality most people engage in groupthink and he formulates his viewpoints like this:

    1. "do women and "low t men" agree with this?" (if yes then he disagrees.)

    2. "will this make me look cool to nerdy teenage boys?"

More importantly (and related to point 2,) he seems to pay people to play video games for him.

I'm probably never going to shut up about the video game thing now because it's hilarious and I want someone to manipulate him into trying to beat my speedrunning highscore for Spyro 120% run (about 3 hours it's pretty far from a world record lol which is about 1 hour and 20 minutes something but not a lot of people have bothered so it's top few hundred,) but then failing. Cause I don't suppose he's played that game much. Maybe not at all. He didn't grow up in the 90s lol and it's mostly a nostalgia game for people who did along with other platformers I would say.

    That was a simpler time.

This has nothing to do with the rest of this post but:

I think you saved my life. My dad wanted to give me weed and shrooms when I was 14. But I had seen your videos and I understand I am vulnerable to addiction. I said no because I knew it wouldn't end well. Your videos made me understand addiction and ED. Thank you so much for still posting and talking about important things. It means a lot to me and a lot of other people!

Someone posted a link to a twitch livestream with Will Wright (The Sims designer) and in the second half of the stream they start playing The Sims 2 with him still on stream which is cool but he left the stream before they went to the Curious household. I don't think he probably remembers that much of the development etc of the game now because it's been like 2 decades and he also wasn't directly involved with The Sims 2, but would have been curious (I didn't do that on purpose but I've just realised yes lol,) about that. They're one of my favourite Sims families as well.

I think he was more familiar with Pleasantview (where they went first,) since the storyline of that game is a sequel to The Sims and includes a bunch of Sims from the first game as well. He also talked about that a bunch back when The Sims 2 came out playing demos of the game.

It's interesting at one point he talked about listening to people describe themselves playing and switching between talking about the Sim as another person and as themself like 'I did this' vs 'they/he/she did that' which is something I noticed before I do in my videos I think. I was thinking about something like that before anyway. I also wonder if he or someone else brought that up before in some interview because I have a vague memory. Maybe Rod Humble since I was reading interviews with him a while ago I dunno. (Since he was working on a new simulation game as well that got scrapped unfortunately. Although I was more interested in paralives personally.)

But yeah because you're kind of playing God and so often view them as seperate from yourself, but then you slip in and out of unconciously identifying with different Sims it's interesting. And I did notice that since I make videos lol.

I think it would be really cool to do something like that with devs who worked on the game more. I know one former dev tweeted a bunch of stuff on twitter a while back about development based stuff but then EA told them to stop LOL. Shut up EA. You ruin everything.

I have a bunch of questions about some stuff. You can find a lot of stuff that was cut from the game in the game object files still and there are some really weird things that I just don't get technically. Like why they did certain things in the way they did and why some things (not related to stuff you will find in regular gameplay,) occur that I'm curious about. But most people who have access to interview devs aren't hardcore fans who have interest or necessarily knowledge about the questions I want answers to lol (plus Will Wright wasn't that involved anyway and most less famous devs wouldn't be interviewed.) Some things have been explained by other players with technical knowledge but still a lot of mysteries.

I could like find people on social media and ask them but it seems that EA would have issues with some things potentially based on what happened on twitter (that might be because one tweet involved him talking about people doing drugs in the parking lot or something though it's hard to say what part they took issue with LOL.) I wouldn't want to ask them to do some streaming thing because I'm not big enough for that really (I have thousands of subscribers but I feel like you have to be in the millions range and at minimum prob hundreds of thousands maybe to do that. I never really see channels smaller than that do interviews lol) and too much social anxiety for live streaming and that kind of thing. Have on experience with that I just make videos.

I'm also really interested in the demo versions that were around too but tragically never leaked unlike a lot of older games. Like there are several ps1 Spyro demos/unfinished versions of the game floating around online.

I'm going to need people to stop being r*tarded in this way.

    There's no hope for us
The future doesn't have to be in the hands of a few. You can own a part of the companies of the future and vote in the same way as government elections to determine your future. We can all make the future better 🙋🏻*♂️❤️
"Fascism should more appropriately be called Corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power." - Mussolini.

The left-wing used to have power in the media even while all other institutions of power were controlled by Republicans (Wall street, police, military, etc?)

Which is why the GOP has been so obsessed with the media and entertainment industry. It was their last takeover left.
The left still has academia. Also I don't think it would be possible for the right to take over Hollywood (which is mostly liberal - not far left as I'm sure people will complain - just liberal,) because they basically just have no interest in actually working in that industry most of the time (for personality based reasons,) and then it's very hostile to vocally right wing people of course.

The right favours hard power over soft power I think. Excluding conservatives. (Conservatives care about culture - soft power - more obviously.)

It's a serious problem for tech to be controlled by conservativism though imo because conservtives are more technophobic.

Your view seems to be that your perception is reality. You're surrendering your agency.

On the other hand, Elon's view is that you can reprogram reality by understanding the underlying code

This is the difference between a main character and an NPC 😉
    What a weird take.
    Just ? yuck.
Internal locus of control for the win

The alternative is blaming everybody else for your problems
Weird out of nowhere non sequitur
She saying that power is concentrated in the hands of a few people.

I'm saying that's her perception, but it's not really true

If you understand the underlying system, even a small tweak can change the whole dynamic of who has power
That's such an unintelligent take. No, you can't change the whole dynamic of who has power based on a small tweak. If it was that simple, EVERYONE would do it constantly.

The fact that this "change" doesn't manifest frequently, means that your entire point is false.
I'm sure it's easy to have an internal locus of control when you have 436 billion dollars and minimal ethics.

He's right in a sense. For example the alphabet gang (mafia sounds cooler,) can collectively turn people gay and ruin male friendships:

I think this is what Trent Reznor was singing about:

    What have I become?
    My sweetest friend
    Everyone I know
    Goes away in the end

    You could have it all
    My empire of dirt
    I will let you down
    I will make you hurt

You know like the empire of dirt is fanfiction apparently. Making fanboys hurt.

Definitely what he was singing about.

Lol what was that thing someone commented on that website that belonged to that guy that keeps teaming up with Edward Dutton? His name is Bruce Charlton wonder if I can find it.

I don't think English is their first language:

Leftists are the 'creative geniuses' frustrated. I mean, they have different personality traits of his own creative genius, but it lacks innate talent that only geniuses creative have, high and natural creativity . As a result, they use their similar personality traits that emulate that of a creative genius and attempt to subjectively (as they always do) the creativity to something that is 'original'.
But do not just invent something original, you must have quality.
In fact, many leftists are evil (pseudo) geniuses, who use their creativity undoubtedly higher than the common population to impose their morality on double meanings and this is regrettable and totally criminal.
"You see gay subtext you right to jail."

Reading stuff from that circle is like a goldmine of insane quotes:

Those inspired by other gods or by Satan are, in contrast, autistic (Mark 9:25) and even left-handed (Matt 25: 41)
That's a fun power to have, so I'm glad I was given this responsibility. Like when I manifested this of course:

    Quote Nyctophilia View Post
Me seeing this thumbnail (parts of this video are kind of graphic in a violent way btw):

    'That's queerbaiting j/k'

    *reads comments*

the kiss, the outfits, the plot ,omg I think we've found ourselves a winner you guys
I manifested this with my God mind you know.

Also I love chainsaws as weapons (this track always reminds me of them lol)

    Not irl of course.
I'm actively not reading Wednesday/Enid fanfiction from the Wednesday TV show because they're both teenagers but I like the dynamic and said I wanted something similar with adults before. I guess the Sabrina + Jenna Ortega music video is the second best thing. (Not exactly that but in the vague area.)

    I appreciate the attempt universe.

I feel like it was inspired by Death Becomes Her?

    Yep.

    Wait what?

Oh cool, but I already headcannoned young Geddy Lee for the librarian role:

You're right though universe libraries are hot.
Lol you're in a parasocial relationship with greek goddesses I'm in a parasocial relationship with a librarian forest elf witch character currently using 1970s/1980s Geddy's form we are not the same.
There's also a whole genre of people especially men who get pissed off by the 'sexualisation of friends' though honestly Wednesday and Enid aren't even friends exactly. Hahaha they're literally roommates.

I think their dynamic is cute though and I somewhat can identify with Wednesday because of my own avoidance and interest in dark stuff. And being compared to her in an insulting way when I was in school... (She was not cool back then I guess.)

    I also read this:

The thing is, and this is conjecture based on interviews, it's both.

For the writers it was accidental subtext. They really wanted to have a love triangle between Wednesday, Xavier, and Tyler. They wanted that to be the romantic focus.

But Jenna Ortega hated that idea, and she actively worked to sabotage it in her performance.

On top of that, she and Emma Myers seem to have decided very early (and I mean VERY early on) that they wanted to play up romantic tension between the two roommates. Look at Enid's wink in episode two ("or just stand on the sidelines, glaring"). That's flirty as fuck.

The actresses were working overtime to make it text.

It seems like at a certain point at least one of the writers/directors just gave up and decided to run with it, but I don't think everyone in control is on board.

So at the end of the day, it comes down to whose competing idea you want to consider valid, and what your metric for that is.
I don't think they were playing that up afaik, but I do remember her saying I think that she wasn't keen on the love triangle thing and thought it didn't work for Wednesday's character.

I do like the Sherlock Holmes thing as well.
This is actually just because I have some basic tastes with some stuff but I'll take it.

Too lazy to dig up other examples of my ramblings. I'm sure at some point it will just be data mining with AI and hyper personalised algorithms instead of coincidence. It already sort of is.

The roommate thing. I'll just link this which also doesn't explain it if you don't know. I feel like it's a common 'meme' or whatever at this point though:

I love how this completely out of context clip has become such a cornerstone of online culture.
    I never actually get it
Lots of gay couples would live together on the down low and be described by historians or ignorant others as roommates.

I want to make Mel Gibson less gay. I'm not sure if we have that power or if it's only one way? Hopefully the relevant department will work on this:

Mel Gibson: I'm glad Trump is here. It's like daddy arrived and he's taking his belt off
How I felt watching that is how I imagine fanboys feel everytime two male characters they like end up in some woman's erotica/porn that they stumble on.

Except I'm not a fan of his but that was still cringe

psychopathology of fascists is that they want to be ruled by a daddy figure.

They're too scared of themselves and of others living free and they can't stand it
Of course, but it's funny when people just say it in literal terms.

    Speaking of Edward Dutton:

Geniuses need to have a high intelligence, of course, but they must also be endogenous - inner directed, creative, and intuitive. This is far more important and the defining characteristic of a genius and culture plays an undisputed role in shaping the inner directedness of individuals. Furthermore, they must have traits of psychopathy. They typically will ignore the usual quest for sex and social status - generally being celibate and almost never having children. They will instead dedicate themselves to a self-chosen obsession, approached using first principles, rather than reading other people extensively and applying the results of their research. They are antisocial, and do not care much about the thoughts, feelings, and opinions of others (low agreeableness). They are not conscientious and do not follow social norms and the expectations of others. The highly intelligent often lack common sense - so that popular trope of the absent-minded professor is true. In fact, they resemble idiot savants to a surprising degree.

Idiot savants have unusual abilities coupled with extreme deficiencies, though their talents are typically useless and they do not make major culture-altering contributions, unlike geniuses as they are defined here. They also need to be cared for by parental figures. It turns out that geniuses typically also need to be protected from the world and are frequently looked after by their families. Jane Austen, Emily Dickinson, Paul Dirac (almost never spoke), Wittgenstein (wouldn't eat with colleagues, socialize, or do administration, taught what he wanted and only the students he liked), Blaise Pascal, Gregor Mendel (the discoverer of genes), Thomas Aquinas, Alan Turing, Kurt Godel, Albert Einstein, Fyodor Dostoevsky (gambling addict and not very competent in life) in other words, half the authors of the books on an educated person's book shelf, were rather helpless and incapable and were looked after by their families, wives, for the very few that had one, and by monasteries that sheltered them. Einstein got lost near his home once and walked into a store and said "Hi. I'm Einstein. Could you help me find my way home please?" Godel depended on his wife and would only eat her cooking. He literally starved to death when she was hospitalized. Paul Erdos slept on the couches of mathematics professors and collaborated on articles with them. A book has been written about him called, The Man Who Loved Only Numbers. Theirs is not the fake creativity of originality as novelty. As Charlton/Dutton point out, Constable and Gainsborough are less original, but are better painters than Lucian Freud and Francis Bacon. (It is tempting to think that their famous last names helped their careers with the last two.)

I never really paid attention to the specifics of Mel Gibson's various controversies (though I was vaguely aware,) but he seems about as crazy as I would have imagined. This is by far the worst though:

In 1985, Gibson was named the "Sexiest Man Alive" by People, the first person to be named so.[246][247]
    Nope. Fake news lol.

    Lol I'm doing Abby Shapiro:

    "No. Incorrect."

That was her take on Harry Styles and men in dresses being attractive. But it's funnier if you hear her say it. That section starts at 13:25:

"The first thing I want to talk about today is something that kind of went viral on twitter and that is Harry Styles in a dress."

    "It's 2020 anything can happen I guess."

    🤣

I don't know who I'd go for in that year though. Definitely not him. If I was young then I would definietly have been into some musician because musicians > actors overall. That wasn't the best year for Geddy Lee's hair so I can't just go with him. I wasn't born then so it's harder to answer.

    This is very important.

    Oh right. I guess:

    He has glitter =D

I'm kind of over it (not the music obviously the music is great,) but I was very into Andrew Eldritch in 2016 or 2015 (one of those years,) so unless I remember someone else.

I was listening to this on New Years:

And this (like at midnight hahaha. It was my choice. I felt like being random):

When did David Sylvian have this hair?

I've seen some photos from 1985 where he has short hair and it doesn't look as good. So I dunno.

I was looking to Japan because obviously they were also influenced by glam rock aesthetics and androgyny and it was hard to find stuff from that year. The lead singer of Buck Tick didn't have peak hair back then it seems and Sugizo:

    Years active 1986-present
(He also prob looked better later.)

You really let me down dude. The whole planet really because now People's magazine's sexiest man alive from 1985 is Mel Gibson because wikipedia says you didn't really exist before 1986.

I actually prefer Luna Sea (Sugizo is also in Luna Sea but I think he is most famous for his work in X Japan but I haven't listened to X Japan somehow lol):

^ I feel like I remember watching a different music video with this track initially but no idea what now.

I haven't heard most of their music but they're very good.

    I love how they invented 【vaporwave】too (that's a joke):

OK nevermind I stand corrected he is not best known for X Japan (cause you know wikipedia is God):

Yūne Sugihara (Japanese: 杉原有音, Hepburn: Sugihara Yūne), born Yasuhiro Sugihara (杉原 康弘) and better known by his stage name Sugizo, is a Japanese musician, songwriter, composer and record producer. He is best known as the lead guitarist and violinist of the rock band Luna Sea since 1989.
I swear X Japan is more famous though? I dunno.

OK I'm really misinformed I thought he joined X Japan ages ago nevermind:

Sugizo started his solo career in 1997 and has since collaborated with a variety of different artists. He formed the psychedelic jam band Shag in 2002, the rock duo The Flare in 2004, and the electronica duo S.T.K (Sensual Technology Kooks) in 2005. In 2007 he became a member of the international trance/world music act Juno Reactor, and of the Japanese rock supergroup S.K.I.N. Sugizo officially joined the rock band X Japan in 2009, and became a member of the supergroup The Last Rockstars in 2022.
Like I say I never listened to them they're just very famous and get brought up as an influence by a lot of visual Kei musicians and other Japanese musicians sometimes.

Oh my God the cast of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are on Abbot's Elementary playing the same characters. I figured the tone of that show was probably too mature for this. I get it though it's Philadelphia. Also that means these shows are in the same universe that's great.

Edit: Yeah the tone was notably very different lol. Also for some reason Dennis is barely in the episode (as he's avoiding the cameras, the show is a mockumentary.) I guess it was probably too many characters to juggle or something for a 20ish minute episode but it would have been funnier if he was.

Jacob also almost says 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' but the last word is cut off lol. Yes slow clap. Well done.

Oh OK apparently there is a reason why he wasn't in most of the episode.

In last week's Abbott Elementary episode "Volunteers," the highly anticipated introduction of the It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia characters to the Abbott universe, Dennis Reynolds ducked out of the storyline in one of the earliest scenes because he didn’t consent to being filmed -- at least, not by ABC cameras.

Despite the nervousness of both Abbott Elementary fans and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia stans leading up to the first part of the crosstown comedy crossover, critics and audiences agreed that "Volunteers" was a spectacularly successful merging of two very different Philadelphian sitcoms with two very different tones. Thankfully for both sides of the sitcom collaboration, the Paddy's Pub Gang managed to spend an entire week at an elementary school without committing any heinous crimes (that we know of) and the broadcast TV censors of ABC didn't dull the edge of the Always Sunny assholes one bit.
I wouldn't say spectacular but considering the limitations (time wise and rating wise,) it wasn't too bad.

Imagine if they referenced this scene lol (but they couldn't because of the rating + tone):

Charlie: "You know we're not racist."

"I'm gonna have a really hard time if we're both cannibals and racists"

Single greatest line I've ever heard in my life
"Cannibals and racism Dee? That's not for us. Those are decisions that are best left for the suits at Washington."

    Is pretty great too.

However, in the days following the crossover launch, Always Sunny fans expressed their outrage that "Volunteers" was missing something gilded and deific -- Glenn Howerton was conspicuously absent from almost every scene, including the talking heads segment in the closing credits that featured all four of his bar mates. Now, Abbott Elementary producers are finally ready to admit why they omitted the Golden God from the episode in a feeble attempt to avoid the Hammer of Thor:

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Abbott Elementary executive producer Patrick Schumacker explained that, while some viewers assumed that Howerton played hooky during "Volunteers" because ABC bristling at the "implication" of having Dennis present in a public school, the real reason why Mac, Charlie, Dee and Frank took up most of the screentime allotted to the guest stars was a decidedly mundane scheduling difficulty.
    ...

"Glenn (Howerton) had a show that he is a series regular on called Sirens,” Schumacker explained of Dennis' in-demand status in real life. "It’s the Netflix show, and it was shooting in New York. He flew in specifically to work on this and had to fly back. We had him for half a day, so we had to build that in."
Ah damn. Guess that's why then.

Just as we expected, FX will make up for Dennis' absence during "Volunteers" by centering the second half of the crossover around his skulking exploits. Presumably, Dennis’ time with the film crew will yield some terrifying results -- even if Dennis isn’t on camera, when you’re in his lair, you’re always being filmed.
Ohh so there's an episode on It's Always Sunny too? I was wondering. I've only watched a couple of seasons (plus tons of other clips on YouTube but in sequence,) of that so I'd have to watch a lot to get to that episode. Could just watch it on it's own if it's disconnected from the rest of the show's story though.

This is such a weird timeline lol:

    Steven what are you doing?

Sometimes I forget how British Steven is…
    This is very somehow.

    Actual brutal facts.
    Lol.

    According to who ?
    Tch:

    LiStEn To ThE HaRmOnY CoDeX

I didn't realize it until now, but I feel like I kind of want Steven Wilson to hit me with a daily series of "gee whiz"-style science facts, accompanied by a drumroll.
I'd prefer this but it's pretty funny:

It's funny because he's not that much older than Eminem but he speaks like he's ancient and that's why he can't comprehend Eminem. Steven is a vampire confirmed:

Also speaking of 'Actual Brutal Facts' aside from Index that track is probably the closest he's ever come to hiphop/rapping lol.

Maybe that channel that was making the fan videos that I forget the name of can make another one with the drum fact clip though I feel like it would fit in.

Lol I just re-watched this video and realised there's some guy whose comment is in this who thinks that Naruto and Sasuke shipping isn't a thing because he used them to compare to the other ship she's talking about. He thinks people are silent about them. I've not watched Naruto and I don't ship them but even I know that pairing was huge (probably still is because it's one of those popular gateway shows. Though personally I think Death Note is prob better for that.) If you go on AO3 there's 16,867 'sasunaru' fanfics and 59.7k (so like 59-60,000) on fanfiction.net. He's definitely not a millenial to have not noticed.

    But more importantly:

My favourite Naruto character is David Bowie sama sensei senpai sensei sama senpai sama.
