I can't remember if I watched this or not before. Maybe.

Lol when he just scrolls through that guys channel as he rants about his Christianity and abstinence and it's just a bunch of video thumbnails with scantily clad women.

The whatever podcast is so transparently grifting ragebait nonsense though and I've managed to mostly avoid it entirely unlike a lot of the other idiots which I can tell is ideal.

    COP 50,000.00
I love knowing I live in a world where there are men like you, thank you so much for speaking up, we all need to be more vocal about all this craze.
    you gave him $50k??
Lol I was like what the absolute [BEEP]? You donated 50 thousand dollars!? Then realised the currency was Colombian pesos so it's like $11 or something.

i think it's awful & messed up most trans women are expected / assumed to top and penetrate by cis girl partners. that there's conception most tgirl / cis girl sex is an excersise in lesbian breeding kink

that said i top and penetrate and love to fulfill my massive lesbian breeding kink so you know

They made me in a factory called [redacted]
    i don't remember writing this

I'm still confused. Like for her sex work? Because I assumed that.

Sometimes I scroll through people's social media profiles and wonder if anything they say is a legit preference/thought etc lol. Part of that is that internet culture has become incredibly post ironic but then gets even more complicated when people are obviously selling themselves as a career.

Then gets even more complicated when someone is voyeuristic, avoidant and asexual-adj and Greek goddesses are involved...

I didn't really fully understand what was happening when Artemis first approached me for sex. Just that something was taking over me, almost possessing me. It felt good and it felt scary and it made me feel afraid that I was going to be turned into a sex toy for a god -- or a demon.
Artemis and Aphrodite are the easiest to contact. I sometimes pray to them together. You would assume these two goddesses are opposites, even in conflict. But they describe my separate halves well. Aphrodite, my loving, seductive, sexual side. Artemis, my solitary, lesbian, asexual tendencies. Aphrodite protects my heart; Artemis, my mind. Everyone has an Apollonian and Dionysian side, but doesn?t every woman have a bit of Aphrodite and Artemis inside her too?
Well the weirdest deity is Inanna because she's a goddess of sexual love and war. Aphrodite was actually based on one half of her. Aesthetically it's a bit like (but not quite,) someone fused Slaanesh and Khorne (who hate each other,) together.

But Slaanesh and Khorne were created in contemporary Britain because they better represent the current (Anglosphere) culture's psyche. I actually don't find old gods as interesting as the fictional deities/demons/gods etc people are coming up with in this and the last century for this reason actually. I mean they can be kind of interesting sometimes but Sheogorath and 40k chaos gods kind of describe our culture better honestly.

An anathema to order and peace, Khorne desires eternal war and to grind down both the domains of his brothers and realms of mortals beneath his hooves. He hates magic and thusly sits apart from his siblings, who make great use of it in their endeavors. He despises cowards, wizards, and Bloodshed is his chiefest and dearest desire. The Blood God has little room in his black heart for any other concern, caring nothing for the vast majority of his followers. They are merely tools in which he uses to acquire skulls and build his seat of power: The Skull Throne.

Khorne's rival for power is Tzeentch, the Sorceror God being second to him in power, territory size, and the origin of all magic which Kharneth patently despises. However, it is the youngest and most glamorous of the Gods that Khorne hates the most: Slaanesh, the Dark Prince of Chaos. Khorne views Slaanesh as honorless, frivolous, and weak and finds him not only the most loathsome of his siblings, but the most loathsome being in existence.

Slaanesh has little love for any of his siblings, but it is Khorne he deems the most objectionable. Finding the Blood God brutal and crass, Slaanesh has entertained a rivalry with Kharneth for countless millenia and their mutual hatred is eons old. To the God of Pleasure, Khorne is that very worst thing of all: boring.[10] Slaanesh takes deep satisfaction in particular in besting the Blood God and his daemons at their own game: bloody murder and battle.
    That's Sheogorath's favourite line too.

You know who else is boring I guess? Elon Musk (hence my recent post lol and the way everyone reacts towards him.)

    The Six Seductions.

    Angering Khorne.
    Playing The Great Game.
    Pleasurable Acts.

    =D

    I love that.

It's not very hard though is it?

These are khorne's 'hobbies' according to the wiki page I'm reading:

    Creating and controlling daemons.

Sitting upon his massive brazen throne which grows ever larger as more skulls are collected in his name.
It would be difficult at times, as the idea of a lesbian Artemis sexually engaging with my body felt at odds with Her virginal and asexual mythology. But what I was feeling was real, and was with Her. She wanted it. And I could sense early on that the way She liked having sex was just as unique as my own preferences (later, I would figure out Her desires were more ace-oriented, again, not unlike myself)

Please see footnote four again. Also, consider that gods tend to present themselves to us in the ways we need to see. "Artemis likes ace sex" seems like an obvious conclusion for an ace woman who wants to have ace sex. [...]
I'm not sure what this means. I know ace means asexual, I mean like what type of sex this is describing.

I feel like some part of my body was designed to communicate with deities in a special and even scary way. Like there is a spiritual hole in my chest, a divine orifice. A glove a god can easily slip on and access.

Trans pagans are likely to be possessed and ridden by deities.7 [BEEP] pagan writers think gods seem to like something about transgender bodies. Is our transition holy? Do they see themselves in us? Do they like us? Pity us? Do they find us admirable, maybe a little more than attractive?

I have felt it at times. Artemis slipping in, feeling things out, rearranging the interior of my mind. Getting things in order. The feeling is beautiful and scary. She and the other gods know I'm not ready yet. But one day, it's going to be asked of me. To give my body and mind to them for short stints of time, 10 or 15 minutes, and do some bidding.
This kind of thought process is going to come up again later in this post.

I have far less shame now than I used to, and the topic of god sex itself seems to come up more and more in conversation whenever I discuss paganism in [BEEP] erotic circles.
god sex is highly stigmatized in the pagan community. I find that silly, of course, given polytheistic mythology is filled with deities fucking humans. It seems obvious to me gods would still be doing the same thing in 2024. [...]

But look, many pagans grew up in religions like Christianity, where sex was seen as shameful and antithetical to religion. The idea that religion has nothing to do with sex is a strong one in American culture. So, I get it. That is an uphill battle and it's not a fight I really want to get involved in, because I have no interest in becoming a pagan influencer. I am skeptical of pagan content creators as a whole.
It's an open secret though that plenty of [BEEP] pagans have had sexual encounters with gods. It's also a closed one. Many middle-class pagans hide their spirituality because they work in places where worshiping Hades could get you fired. Imagine if your local he/they twink H&R Block accountant admitted to fucking Dionysos as well.
Uh I've mentioned in previous posts that a lot of [BEEP] people (and Bronze Age Pervert who seems closeted to me,) turn their sexuality into some kind of religion. They're usually approaching it from that side of things too like sexuality > religion. There is some overlap with fascism and far right politics sometimes too.

    Bronze Age Pervert:

I always loved the statues of the kouroi. I can safely say that upon viewing such statue by myself for three hours (someone let me in to look alone in museum), I was able to ejaculate without touching myself. But I had no dirty or untoward thoughts the entire time.
I have no doubt that the gods, if they exist, would look only like perfected and improved versions of beautiful physiques of young men, just like they showed themselves to the Greek oracles in dreams. They were the first to discover the true biological and physical form of the man, the correct form, the true proportions. I have no doubt also that this force, in being inside us together with others, has made human history, life, and our own minds the battleground and stage of its action, and that passivity in the face of its power is therefore absurd: it calls on us to allow ourselves to be possessed by it, and to wage war on its behalf against its enemies
^ as I said the thought process from before has come up again. Now with war.

    Elisar von Kupffer:

Let's talk about Elisar von Kupffer. Who is he? What's he famous for?

So Elisar von Kupffer is a- It's funny. I'm actually looking for the right noun, right? I don't know whether to call him an artist or religious leader, an activist, a fascist. He's all the above.

But he?s a man who lives between 1872 and 1942. He?s born in what is now present-day Estonia, as part of the class of Baltic German overlords there, and throughout the course of his life, he assembles the first ever anthology of gay literature, which is called The Love of Favourites and Friendly Love in World Literature, which is published in Berlin in 1900.3 He creates a new religion called Klarismus or Clearism, which combines medievalist and Christian iconography with ideas about that kind of universal, transcendent spiritual androgyny that he gets out of readings and misreadings of Persian literature and of the classical era. He creates a series of artistic works culminating in the 30-metre cyclorama painting called The Clear World of the Blessed,4 which depicts the Claristic utopia in which many naked androgynes - all of which bear either his face, the face of his life partner Eduard von Mayer, or the face of a favourite local model, "Gino" Luigi Taricco - are depicted.

His work throughout his entire career is informed by a biological racism that understands human cultural output as being rooted entirely in climate and race, which are understood to be linked. For this reason, for example, he settles in Italian Switzerland because he understands it as being a bisexual climate: there?s the Mediterranean homosexual climate and race type, and in the German Alpine, heterosexual climate and race type.5 And so, he?s found in Ticino6 a bisexual climate. That's maybe a more humorous example of this biological determinism. But this also leads him to subscribe to antisemitic conspiracy theories, to be described by Nazi officials as a devoted hater of the Jews, and to several attempts to collaborate with Nazi politicians in order to secure state support and funding for this artwork and for this religious project. He fails, but not for lack of trying, including several extremely warm letters written to Adolf Hitler at the end of Kupffer?s life, where he really praises Hitler, his political project and identifies them as political allies.7

So Kupffer is a really complex, controversial and strange figure. I hope very much that this article is being published alongside some images of his artwork as well, because you really do need to see this art to believe it. It is, I like to joke, mercifully inimitable. It?s really something.
There's also some really interesting thinking that's been done about the ways that fascist German masculinity of that period - and this all comes from the theorist Klaus Theweleit16 - was really based on tremendously visceral fear and disgust of the female body, especially the working-class female body, as a source of unregulated desires and impulses and flows that were not properly contained within the rationally governed armour of the proper male body politic. And I think Kupffer, while he depicts a really different male body politic - a much more androgynous male body politic -, he's still depicting this extremely rational control and governed place where everything is in its right position. And I think some of the same fears and disgusts of the sexual, as opposed to the erotic, or the ungoverned body are still really visibly present in his work.
Jack Donovan too (he worshipped Khorne basically.. Like hyper masculine war/violence. I actually think he disowned a lot of his earlier writing so yeah. I went to his twitter earlier in the year or something and he'd tweeted something about how a lot of the self help spiritual stuff right wing men are doing reminds him of lesbians decades ago and he found that amusing):

One figure DiBranco highlights is Jack Donovan, whose theories of "gang masculinity" she writes, compel "men to form warrior gangs to escape domestication of women." Indeed, Donovan is an important figure. Tracking his movements across the far right reveals much about the relationships and ideas propelling it in fresher directions.
"Donovan advocates 'androphilia,' by which he means love or sex between masculine men. He doesn't call himself gay, rejects gay culture as effeminate, and justifies homophobia as a defense of masculinity rooted in the male gang's collective survival needs. This might sound like self-hatred, but Donovan isn't hiding or apologizing for his own sexuality; he's defining it in a way that's radically at odds with prevailing LGBT politic."
"Masculinity is a religion, and I see potential for androphiles to become its priests," Donovan wrote in Androphilia, "to devote themselves to it" in a way that men who understand their manliness through women -- in quantifying the number they've slept with or measuring "men's rights" against "women's rights" -- can't. And so androphiles like Donovan have found common ground with the gender-traditionalists and male-advocacy groups elsewhere in the messy carnival of the new right, where reactions to women range from outright hostility to benign disinterest.
And they're not interested in [BEEP] solidarity, either. "Apart from Camille Paglia, of course, I can't think of any interesting lesbians," gay white nationalist James O'Meara told me in an interview. Or as Donovan said, "I think most of them are so married to feminism that I don't think that's even an option."
I agree with some of Paglia's takes but mostly she writes to appeal to men and from a male viewpoint which is why they like her writing. They don't like women or femininity usually but especially women.

    This I guess:

    I'm assuming her:

"I think of myself, my own body, as a goddess but I also think of you as a goddess and you as a god," Aurora says to me.
Yeah that makes a lot of sense. I mean it comes across a lot in her music.

On her fourth album, The Gods We Can Touch, Aurora brings heaven and hell back to Earth. She sends shivers down our spines as we convert to her coven descended from the Garden of Eden, the 21st-century children of Eve. As she was the first one to eat the forbidden fruit, we are the first ones to feel no shame when embracing the pleasure and essence of who we are within. Subverting biblical symbolism, inspired by the bravery of the [BEEP] community and pantheon of Greek gods, Aurora ascended to a self-assembled studio in a 400-year-old castle in Norway to give birth to a painfully beautiful project. It's a joy-sprouting celebration of diversity: the message of love embedded there has the power to melt even the coldest and the hardest of hearts.
What I liked about it is to see the mythology of the Western world that I actually resonated with. There's not so much with the modern Western world that I connect with because the Western world throughout history has brought so much destruction and abuse to the world which is very sad. I like Greek mythology because it included more imperfections. They have more room for humane. They have gods and goddesses to celebrate the very things that modern religion puts shame upon like being a woman, being gay, drinking wine, being sexual, being trans. They all had gods to celebrate these things so I wonder what happened on the way, where we lost that kind of freedom? Why do we have the need to impose control on each other with religion? Because faith is a very beautiful thing, it's a big part of being a human, this spiritual side.
Expresses slightly differently depending on the individual. This is why Jordan Peterson decided to convert to Christianity for real btw LOL. He spoke in interviews about how basically with no defence you just get ruled by your lowest instincts and by sex goddesses (usually a goddess he said because it's usually a feminine figure.) I cba trying to dig up the interview where he talked about this. So I'm paraphrasing a bit. He talked about Freud then as well.

I have realised there is some kind of semi conscious war here between spiritual femininity and masculinity as well.

I refuse to accept that Christianity, or the Abrahamic religions, are the solution though.

    So boring to me:

I could have used some help from the daedric prince of biscuits recently (as I was making some.) Or not. That doesn't usually go well in the video games lol.

Most people are uncomfortable with people blending the transcendental with sexuality. But most people are uncomfortable with sexuality in general. It makes sense since I've just described how it's dangerous but religion in general can be dangerous.

Lol you're in a parasocial relationship with greek goddesses I'm in a parasocial relationship with a librarian forest elf witch character currently using 1970s/1980s Geddy's form we are not the same.

    II. Apollo Bringer of Wisdom

    'I bring truth and understanding,
I bring wit and wisdom fair,
    Precious gifts beyond compare.
We can build a world of wonder,
I can make you all aware'

    III. Dionysus Bringer of Love

'I bring laughter, I bring Music,
I bring joy and I bring Tears
I will soothe your primal fears
Throw off those chains of Reason
    And your prison disappears'

    The cities were abandoned
    And the forests echoed song

They danced and lived as brothers
They knew Love could not be wrong

(Not quoting all the lyrics to this.)

I basically wrote the bolded dichotomy as a teenager as well. I know it's just obvious symbolically but it feels creepy lol because I didn't have much if any familiarity with any of this really at the time.

I'm not including this because it fits I'm including it because after writing most of this post I started listening to this song for the first time ever lol. It actually autoplayed after another song I was listening to. Because the same ideas are everywhere.

I think I read about this song's plot before though on wikipedia.

(I also know Neil not Geddy wrote the lyrics to all their songs after the first album including Trees - the most foresty song - yeah.)

    V. Cygnus Bringer of Balance

    I have memory and awareness
But I have no shape or form
    As a disembodied spirit
I am dead and yet unborn

    I have passed into Olympus
As was told in tales of old
    To the City of Immortals
    Marble white and purest gold

I see the Gods in battle rage on high
    Thunderbolts across the sky
I cannot move, I cannot hide
I feel a silent scream begin inside

Then all at once the chaos ceased
A stillness fell, a sudden peace
The Warriors felt my silent cry
    And stayed their struggle, mystified

    Apollo was astonished
    Dionysus thought me mad
But they heard my story further
And they wondered, and were sad

    Looking down from Olympus
On a world of doubt and fear
    Its surface splintered into
    Sorry hemispheres.

They sat a while in silence
Then they turned at last to me
    'We will call you Cygnus
The God of Balance you shall be'

Neil was clearly talking about Guthix here LOL. Decades before:

Guthix (pronounced /ˈɡʌθɪks/ GUH-thicks[4]) was the god of balance and the last surviving member of the Naragi race. As the first of the young gods to arrive on Gielinor, he welcomed the goddess Seren and introduced various races. Guthix believed that balance should govern all things, and he brought these races--unaware of gods and unaligned with good or evil--to Gielinor to live in harmony with nature, allowing them the freedom to make their own choices.[5] His vision for maintaining balance, however, faltered with the arrival of other powerful deities. Guthix was known for his serious and decisive nature.

Guthix, the god of balance, desired a world where mortals could live in peace and harmony, free from the influence of gods. After banishing the other deities from Gielinor, he hoped that, in time, they would be forgotten by their followers, preferring a world where mortals neither fought in the name of the gods nor even knew of their existence. Though he recognised that this ideal was unlikely, it remained his deepest wish. This is why he chose to retreat into slumber beneath the earth, longing to be forgotten himself, as he too was a god.
The god was a benevolent entity who wished the best for mortals, thinking the best environment was one of balance. This would entail equal amounts of war and peace, chaos and order, nature and culture, et cetera. Likewise, he expected his followers to live in balance with their world and respect it.[7] Guthix approved of morally evil acts if it would serve balance, so long as there would not be an excess of evil nor good[8]

There is a common misconception about Guthix, which is that he was the god of peace or tranquillity. While this holds some truth, seeing that Guthix sought to create a world of balance where mortals could live in peace without the interference of gods, balance does not equal peace. Rather, he desires for peace to have an equal amount of war to counter it, as evidenced by the founding of the militant Void Knights to complement the pacifistic druids.
    =D

(Uses the word void, I'm easily entertained.)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8r55snAYQcs

The Void Knights are the main human fighting force of Guthix. Their duty is to maintain the balance that Guthix created in Gielinor. Originally this entailed the occasional assassination, however in recent years creatures from another dimension have broken into Gielinor and occupied many identical islands in the far south. The presence of these creatures upset the balance. So, several Void Knights' Outposts have been established to monitor and close the portals on these islands. However the creatures have become more aggressive and have overrun some of the outposts. The Void Knights call adventurers to help them seal the portals through the Pest Control minigame.
I've said this before but I love how the writing is similar to Terry Pratchett lol:

Jack: When I was a kid, some druids discovered runes, apparently created by Guthix himself, for us to use.
    Player: By Guthix?
Jack: Yes, he's created countless numbers of them, storing them all over the place, so, soon after their discovery, the world was dubbed RuneScape. We've long returned to calling it Gielinor, but like many things of importance, different people call it by different names.
Player: I suppose magic has developed over the years?
Jack: Vastly! Many spells have been discovered and we keep finding different types of runes. Researchers have even started writing what they call 'spellbooks' - grouping together different types and categories of spells. The druids are becoming more commonly known as wizards, and are choosing to wear robes and pointy hats. It'll never catch on; it's a silly look.
After four millennia of warring, Guthix awoke, ended the wars, and banished all gods, much to their followers' dismay. Nearly twenty-two centuries later, his cave was discovered and Guthix was murdered by the Zarosian Mahjarrat Sliske, shattering the Edicts he put in place after the God Wars.
    Boo.

what if you got to heaven and found out all the gods are tgirl chasers. thousand-year-old goddesses really into the gock. call you brave and valid and ask how big it is in the same breath. stresses they've got an IUD and prefer it raw. i think i would die a second time from being too hard
Someone should let that Italian chaser I posted about before know. Only for her to get rejected again because everyone is just larping lol.

Would you atleast consider that hookup culture disproportionately affects women in a negative way?
I see more men complain about it than women overall.

I'm a man and I despise hook-up culture either way. The fact of the matter is that whenever you go to a party in circles where there is a hookup culture, the average experience of a guy is about 10 rejections and a 50/50 shot he get's lucky by the end of the night. The average experience of a girl is rejecting 10 guys and going for the best or 2nd best option, but if she turns down to many guys she might have overplayed her hand and be left emptyhanded.

The simple truth behind this is that a man that isn't able to pull will be seen as having failed to impress or court any of the girls present. If a girl doesn't go home with someone by the end of the night, it is seens as none of the men having met her standards. In this example the 'stock' of the man goes down and the 'stock' of the woman goes up.

If both a man and a woman manage to hook up, people will view the guy as succesful in scoring a girl while people will believe that the girl has had her standards met.

Now imagine a girl sleeps with 100 guys. Is it really that easy to meet her standards? If they are so low is a guy any special for her wanting to be with him? Also how disposable are men to her if she slept with and discarded 100 before him?

For a guy this is different. People will think "wow, that dude managed to meet the standards of a 100 girls".
Well... My controversial opinion actually is that I respect promiscuous women more than promiscuous men because they're going against gender stereotypes and social expectations which requires more self confidence. They also mostly bottom during penetrative sex which I can't do (or I've never wanted to,) so that's impressive too. I respect bottoms a lot.

Overcoming the instinctive fear response to men is very impressive too (from reading her tweets I gather she actually has a lower than average fear response to men like in terms of safety and is more affected by social judgement. Suspending a typical fear response would be even more impressive):

"I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear." - Nelson Mandela
From the outside, it might seem like I am fearless in my sexual adventures, like I'm a confident slut running wildly from penis to penis.

This isn't true at all. All the best risks I've taken my life, all the sexual choices I've made that have revoked society's blessing on me - I've done despite experiencing sheer terror. I am not immune to the heavyhanded social narratives that I must be damaging myself somehow, that no man will ever want me, that sluts are deeply bad, in some abstract, unspecified way. Those narratives make me seize with fear. It's just I figure the fear must be unfounded - when I examine myself, I can't find any actually bad thing. This method has resulted in tons of joy, adventure, and fulfillment in my life.

There is no inherent badness to a penis entering my vagina. So I force my feet to move forward, into the den of forty-two men all jacking off in identical bathrobes, while I?m screaming internally, in the same way I scream when about to go on stage for a performance.
Men who are promiscuous don't really impress me, if they're tops.

Lol (sorry couldn't resist,) the reason why is some of them are quite aggressive and pushy which I don't personally appreciate (not even just with promiscuous men, I just don't like aggressive approaches in general. Like the guy who kissed me at a party out of nowhere can you not?) But I think for guys who aren't famous or whatever (and maybe even some who are,) that's the approach they have to take to get sex. I'm sure women can be too especially when drunk but they don't usually have to be which helps a little.

I don't get the impression that the guys who pursue that are lacking in confidence very often either. Maybe they are but I don't think so. I think the guys who lack in confidence don't try to live that lifestyle in the first place. At least not actively. Especially these days.

If a guy has a really difficult time approaching women and does I can appreciate that but again completely different thing.

I also like stories/fantasies/whatever about male sex workers. They've usually been having sex with men though.

I can respect men for other things that correlate with having a lot of sex too like being a famous musician, but being able to attract people for sex doesn't make me admire them more. In fact I probably prefer them to be as discreet about their popularity as possible and to be mostly invisible to women, because it helps with the parasocial fantasy. You know like when women buy romance books where a guy on the cover has six pack abs and a pair of glasses?

I'm sure this is doing the same thing.

Lol the voice she puts on at like 3:37 in this video sounds exactly like that one chracter from Daria... (Sandy):

Some people find it easier than others to suspend disbelief though. I'm not a six pack abs and a pair of glasses person though lol (I mean I have a thing about skinny guys for some weird reason, so there's also that.)

*stares at this video for 72 years*

And then you meet some nerdy guys and they're actually just insufferable (like me lol,) and have a superiority complex sometimes.

It helps if women are like 'wtf you find him attractive?' Though.

"If you have to ask you just don't understand."

You know like how some people want people to envy them because of their partner and talk about that?

No, we're talking about facial beauty here. Ladyboys have, generally, better features. They have that slight androgyny which is always present in real beauty. I mean, who wants an instantly forgettable Suzie Creamcheese clone? Okay, I grant you, the most beautiful natal women in the world are simply stunning, but just how many Angelina Jolies, aged 22, with no kids or significant airhead are there out there? Without heads filled up with feminist pish about 'career'? And who are prepared to be seen in public with a scruff like you?
See here's a thing: very few women can dress, and it's even worse now than it used to be. You know, if I'm taking a girl out, I like her to be showing plenty of leg, a decent amount of bosom and looking like a cross between Isis and Helen of Troy with her [BEEP] on fire meeting a K-pop bimbo band. I expect every other man to be giving her that look, then that look of resentment at me when she pulls close, telling them, 'You can [BEEP] right off, mate, I'm taken.' That makes me feel smug. Cock-blocking is soooo satisfying; the only thing better is les-blocking.
(Yes this is a real guy somehow.)

And some women make decisions about partner based on other women finding that guy attractive. What's it called... There's a term for this as a phenomenon that I've seen people use lol, but I can't remember.

I'm like that but the opposite sometimes.

    I like him more already.

Tumblr takes this to extremes sometimes I notice.

Also I want to watch a spin off show about Orin.

But yeah anyway, if someone doesn't seem very interested in a long term relationship I can see why that would be off putting in general.

"what?s your body count?" His immaturity shines through. Try watching the episode with Amala. It's so cringe.
Also "body count" always makes me think of murder.

I was thinking does MCR have the word body count in a song. Not quite..

And if you stay, all I'm asking for is
    A thousand bodies piled up
I never thought would be enough
To show you just what I've been thinking

And someone has counted sort of or something (I'm not going to bother quoting the EP's and live albums etc though you can find them in the link):

    https://loudwire.com/my-chemical-rom...unt-per-album/

Album: 'I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love'

Fatalities: Staked vampire, Man in ?Honey? video, woman in the ?Vampires? video, zombie lover, ?1,000 bodies piled up,? ?think happy thoughts,? Demolition Lovers

    Total: ~1,007
Album: 'Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge'

Fatalities: A wedding party, "she," dying wish, Hotel Bella Muerte, coffin door, bathroom floor, us

    Total Kills: ~14
One of my favourites was the ending of I Never Told You What I Do for a Living.

    Album: 'The Black Parade'

Fatalities: Patient, she, you, [BEEP] that I've done, we (troop), "make them pay"

    Total Kills: ~38
'Danger Days: The True Lives Of The Fabulous Killjoys'

Fatalities: Jet Star, Kobra Kid, Party Poison, Fun Ghoul, music video Draculoids (34+), ?kill everybody? (innumerable), kill the party

    Total Kills: ~58
    So notalgic.

Watching this again (still haven't finished.)

Myron: "You wouldn't date me when I act feminine."

Myron if I had disposable income I would pay you to act feminine indead of whatever the hell this is. You know those men who think women are annoying because they have a girlboss attitude? (What he's getting at when he says succesful women are annoying to many men.) You are basically the same but worse.

Lol the 'body count' thing came up in this video too. Yeah once again just makes me think of kill count.

Brings a whole new meaning to la petite mort.

Lol I'm glad he uploaded this seperately because it was a great part of the video it was from (which was much longer):

So Vlad is in New York this time ('dressed as a woman' to see how people react.) Once again this never happens in the UK getting random sexual comments from guys at night... Even being approached in general is rare. I used to get more comments when I dyed my hair during the day but those were mostly just compliments. I've had people ask questions about band t-shirts too. And as I've said before drunk people can be annoying rarely.

Removed the video because one thing that happens in it is also probably a bit too messed up to post.

One thing I will say is:

Spoiler: He gives off a lot of vulnerability cues in the videos. It stood out to me before that how he acts isn't how most women do especially just continuing to talk to some strangers instead of just walking off and things like that. But the actual way he walks is incredibly inadvisable - most people don't do this instinctively - but I just checked the guide and what he's doing is basically the opposite of what they suggest lol. He just sort of meanders.

So it basically just shows how disgusting a certain percentage of men are with the things they say and/or do when you don't have any defenses against them but who didn't know that lol?

I wouldn't say his experiences - especially the frequency - are a reasonable expectation of what will happen to the average woman (since they don't act this way.) Thinking about it it might explain why trans women get into lots of issues though if they're not instinctively doing certain things and again stand out more.

People are denying this in the comments and it's like yes some women might act like him, and these are women who unfortunately will have repeated unpleasant encounters at a higher rate than average. It's considered offensive to point this out though but yeah unfortunately those guys are always going to be around because some of them are on drugs/inebriated, some of them are just too stupid to understand basic social norms/boundaries and some are just innately predatory. Sometimes a combination of multiple of those three.

Vlad is a man doing social experiment that's why he's nice to all the dudes in the video including the rude ones. IRL women are even rude to the respectful men. Feels like being respectful isn't the bare minimum for women
Yes it's important as a defence mechanism, and not easy to switch on/off in certain environments. Nor should they really if they don't know you. I don't know how you can watch the video and not realise the importance of being cold to random guys.

A lot of women have trouble asserting themselves and want to be polite/nice and this is especially true for middle class women as there are class differences. It's not a good thing when dealing with guys like this. That one guy didn't listen to anything he said until he pushed him away and started being more assertive part of that could be the level of force used but it's also partly his attitude.

I don't feel super bad for that woman since she went there looking to start [BEEP] but considering he just responded that way as soon as he opened the door I'm not surprised he's being charged. I personally think if you're that worried don't answer the door because he didn't even wait to see who/what she wanted before spraying her with mace. Obviously she went there to at the very least argue with him, but then why open the door? Oh and I can't stand Nick Fuentes he's a brat with mummy issues mysteriously surrounded by androgynous nazis, but nevertheless.

"What force did she use against him?"

"She came right up to his front door."

    ...

She didn't even try to break in or something she knocked on the door lol.

"Someone shows up to your front door that you don't know."

"If someone knocks on the door that I don't know, I'm not opening the door period."

Same. I have social anxiety and have lived in some weird places lol.

Fresh joined this podcast to get IG models. Myron's alt-right turn was not what he Fresh signed up for
Myron seems like a generally unstable person to me so yeah. I don't watch most of their content just clips I've seen but Fresh seems mostly like a follower who wanted easy money so went along with this. He's not a great guy but seems to lack strong opinions and is now being dragged along for this crazy arc.

Myron is too dumb to realise (or doesn't care) that the money is in being a Ben Shapiro kind of grifter not doing what Nick Fuentes does. They're demonetised on a bunch of platforms now. He's just like 'guess I'll burn down everything.' Very disagreeable personality type when paired with relatively low intelligence and emotional dysregulation it basically equals a disaster which is what you have here. He doesn't know where the lines are politically speaking or doesn't care.

Fresh wants money and women I think. He's not a complicated person. I don't know how close they are but my guess is if they're not as close as people think then Fresh will eventually leave and Myron will just make content alone. The only thing probably keeping Fresh there is that he doesn't have a better gig lined up I assume. Myron's disagreeable asshole personality is why people paid any attention so Fresh can't do it alone and is really just kind of there most of the time. Now he's started arguing with him more he actually has more purpose.

Apparently TV Licensing know when a new TV is bought. Personally, I'm going to call bullshit, it's up there with "we have magical TV detecting vans that can tell if you are watching live TV or IPlayer, but we've never actually been able to explain in a court of law, so it probably doesn't exist."

Very rare you even see the buggers, most people never really see them, just get a whole load of letters with an increasing amount of capital letters and red text. Only saw them the once at my uni flat. He was insistent he would just come back with a court warrant if I didn't let him in or if I didn't buy a TV livense there and then, which I told him to go ahead and do. Never came back. Probably didn't even try to get a warrant, I imagine that me not letting him in is not evidence that i am watching TV.

(I mean, I pay for one now because it gets me IPlayer, about the only reason otherwise I wouldn't bother. Number of times I've watched Live TV in the last year is not much. Maybe eurovision.)

This is a pretty weak argument tbh and I don't even agree with red pill philosophy but some women are infertile, sometimes couples can't have kids due to some vague incompatability (seems increasingly common these days, I hear many people talk about it,) or the guy is infertile (in which case women being able to have kids would be irrelevant,) and many women don't want kids so I wouldn't say they all bring the ability to have kids to the table.

I can have kids physically (well I assume maybe I can't lol never tried,) but I don't want to and would prefer to use a surrogate instead of being pregnant and giving birth. I'm non-binary though but he doesn't think that exists lol so whatever same point regardless. I'm not technically bringing that to the table. Besides eggs I guess.

Then of course you have older women who can't have kids due to age.

Not to mention these defences are useless in the long term and I'm always skeptical of them. Eventually we will have artificial wombs, and probably IVG (I suspect IVG will be available before artificial wombs in fact):

Scientists are a step closer to making IVF eggs from patients’ skin cells after adapting the procedure that created Dolly the sheep, the first cloned mammal, more than two decades ago.

The work raises the prospect of older women being able to have children who share their DNA, and to overcome common forms of infertility caused by a woman’s eggs becoming damaged by disease or cancer treatment.

The radical procedure, which may take a decade to perfect and approve in humans, would also enable male couples to have genetically related children, since the men’s DNA could be combined in the fertilised egg and carried to term by a surrogate mother.

"Should this technology become clinically viable in the future, it holds the potential to revolutionise IVF and offer hope to many infertile patients who have lost gametes due to disease, ageing or cancer treatments,” said Aleksei Mikhalchenko, the first author on the study, at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, US. Gametes are sperm and egg cells.
And then somehow people who despise each other except for this one thing in a few cases (and for many that's not enough of course,) will have to find a way to at least tolerate each other without genocide etc.

It's not even just about not finding women or men attractive and choosing not to date, it's the resentment and contempt that a lot of people have that causes problems.

    https://www.theguardian.com/society/...ggs-skin-cells

Scientists around the world are working on several approaches to create eggs and sperm in the lab. Last year, Japanese researchers created eggs from the skin cells of male mice, leading to the birth of mouse pups with two fathers. Other teams hope to create sperm and eggs from embryonic stem cells, which are versatile enough to form any tissue in the body.

While many countries, including the UK, outlaw the use of artificial sperm and eggs to treat infertile couples, advances in the coming years may drive calls to permit the procedures if they are deemed safe and effective.
I don't know why people aren't talking about this kind of thing more. In about 10-20 years I think, the main thing blocking this will be purely legal not technological impossibility.

It's not just relevant to relationships either but personhood. If you don't like how trans women, older childless women, and women who are seen as feminist and refusing motherhood are treated now than you should know all women will be treated like that (to varying degrees,) after artificial wombs are created and start being used. Just like how most male roles have been impacted by technology, and most female roles have been impacted by technology (cooking and cleaning is very different now then hundreds of years ago.)

It's going to be a real wakeup call for women whose identity is centred around motherhood which is very heavily rooted in reproduction for a lot of people and I do see devaluing of adopted parents so obviously in this case it's the same as using a surrogate but these men like Steven Crowder - great example - have an extreme amount of contempt for women. The attitude is something like "Well I'm rich, so you have to match this somehow by doing everything I want always." Then he complains about divorce laws when his wife divorces him lol.

So it's going to increase even more if now you're not giving birth. I don't think conservative women will handle this well at all except in the sense that those communities have an aversion to technology built into their culture. If you merged the liberal openness to technology and new cultural stuff with the conservative male contempt of women that Steven Crowder has and I know not all guys who are technically conservative have this but the most popular US influencers often do now. If you merged those together it would be like a nightmare and in some ways that is the redpill guys they're like the worst of both worlds. Guys like Myron.

Same with sex robots and such as they become more advanced. You're not going to want your identity to be rooted in relationships really...

I'm not against the technology though I'm really in favour of artificial wombs but I also see how it's going to negatively effect people because of their contempt.

I feel like otherkin/therians/catgirls/puppygirls etc are onto something in a sense because we have a much more positive opinion of non-Human animals than each other lol....

Lol someone posted this video. It's funny because in a lot of ways being creative is seen as worse than homosexual in Western culture now. It's also funny because Jordan Peterson did this with genderfluid people:

^ the funniest part of that interview is still when he says that Bowie, Prince etc 'weren't exactly androgynous that's not the right word' but they 'manifested a higher order integration of masculine and feminine and that made them charismatic.' Wow if only there was a word for that like androgynous. Lol.

They are both actually mentioned on the wikipedia page for androgynous too. And this wikipedia list of androgynous people:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...ogynous_people

This is a list of notable people who have been described at any time as androgynous in their persona or presentation, either by self-identification or in reliable sources.
I didn't know this page existed if it's edited often this is going to be useful for me in finding guys I think.

    David Bowie

    Prince
So you just mean they weren't gay? Yes we know.

No it's not a very thorough list lol. Also doesn't even have the cutest 1970s guy =O:

Is it because he's wearing denim? Because I think we should forgive him for that because of his hair and the boots.

I don't know if anyone has ever said Geddy Lee is androgynous. Some people were insulting him and saying he looked like a witch (I mean witches are hot but they meant it insultingly,) and everyone thought he was a woman while listening to him sing apparently and post about that online. (I didn't because the first time I listened to Rush was a live stage performance on TV.) But yeah they're looking for official sources.

It does have that one guy Bladee. I saved an image of him a few years ago. He's not bad looking.

Doesn't include IAMX or Patrick Wolf or Sephiroth.

What Sephiroth is real. People's reactions to him when they have no exposure to Japanese anime or video games is funny you can always tell when they don't because Sephiroth is actually pretty masculine by those standards but people who aren't familiar will always seemingly get confused:

I just found this video now he's bonkers lol. He just starts talking about Wuthering Heights as well. Reminds me of my posts.

Just realized Jeff goldblum is what tommy wiseau thinks he is lmao.
Kinda I think The Room was about Jeff Goldblum.

But The Room also wishes it was this film:

Her yelling sounds like the entire scene is about to transform into a 2000s nu metal song or something.

    Jeffree Star
    You included this:

    But not this:

This is racist to British people and goths. (I know this music isn't goth. I just discovered his music via a gen x goth woman on livejournal in the 2000s.)

Also if you squint it can be goth:

I'm being generous Jeffree has much worse songs than the one I included in this post. Oh and he has a very popular makeup brand he's mostly known for but I don't care that isn't music.

I actually think a lot of the correlation for both gay guys and non-binary people with creativity comes from bisexuality or non monosexual sexual orientations though. (Gay guys because a lot of people round up to being homosexual or because they're just bisexual in the first place like David Bowie, or sometimes even straight but androgynous so people assume gay and non-binary because there's a big overlap again with bisexuality and then creativity again.)

    This personality type:

Richard A. Lippa proposed that there exist two dimensions of sexual orientation: a gender typicality dimension, and a monosexuality dimension. With the gender typicality dimension being associated with the heterosexual-homosexual distinction, while the sociosexuality dimension has many behavioral effects. He proposes someone who would be at any point in the heterosexual-homosexual spectrum will become bisexual if they are high on the sociosexuality dimension. This dimension being associated with higher sociosexuality, higher neuroticism, lower agreeableness, lower honesty-humility, higher openness to experience, and a minor degree of gender nonconformity.[70] He proposes this as explaining phenomena such as increased juvenile delinquency among bisexuals,[71] increased mental health issues and substance use disorder among bisexuals,[72] and increased dark triad traits among bisexual women.[73]Critics of this theory have described elements observed as coming from experiences of biphobia,[70] but Lippa counters that these phenomena are present even among heterosexual identifying people with some same sex attraction, who would likely be heterosexual passing.[70][74]
Openness to experience correlates with creativity, as measured by tests of divergent thinking.[14] Openness has been linked to both artistic and scientific creativity as professional artists, musicians, and scientists have been found to score higher in openness compared to members of the general population.[15]
    https://gwern.net/doc/psychology/per...2020-allen.pdf

Results showed that bisexual individuals reported higher levels of openness than homosexual individuals, who in turn, reported higher levels of openness than heterosexual individuals. Bisexual individuals also report lower levels of conscientiousness than both heterosexual and homosexual individuals.
    https://www.sciencedirect.com/scienc...9265662400014X

The bolded below is a big part of why conservative people have issues with various people:

Sexual orientation personality differences mostly focus on three categories--heterosexual, gay/lesbian, and bisexual. A recent meta-analysis drew from studies published from 1972 to 2020, in which samples were clinical populations, non-U.S. national probability samples, and several convenience samples. They found personality differences in open-mindedness, neuroticism, and conscientiousness while extraversion and agreeableness showed mostly no differences between heterosexual, gay/lesbian, and bisexual people (Allen & Robson, 2020). Bisexual people were on average less conscientious than heterosexual (d = 0.35) or gay/lesbian people (0.21). Neuroticism was higher in both bisexual (0.29) and gay/lesbian people (0.15) than heterosexual people with no difference between bisexual and gay/lesbian people. Bisexual people reported higher open-mindedness than heterosexual (0.35) or gay/lesbian people (0.16) and gay/lesbian people were more open-minded than heterosexual people (0.30; Allen & Robson, 2020). Overall, open-mindedness and neuroticism differences showing that heterosexual people are lowest in both are some of the most consistent past findings.
Similar to past research, women and men differed in neuroticism, and as we hypothesized nonbinary people were greater in open-mindedness than either men or women. Women and nonbinary people were more similar to each other in neuroticism (0.17) and were more distinctly different from men (0.49?0.66). Open-mindedness was greater in nonbinary people than men or women as would be expected, but we did not find men to be more open-minded than women which had been found previously (Bogaert et al., 2018, Lippa, 2010). Unlike past research, we did not find women to be more extraverted than men, nor was the difference in agreeableness between men and women large (d = 0.13). These results suggest that some of the stereotypical differences between men and women, like women being trusting, compassionate and friendly (high agreeableness), may not be found in present day, while social stresses and stigmatization still lead minority people like women and nonbinary people to be more neurotic.
For gender identities, mean differences at the personality trait level manifested for all but extraversion among any two groups (see Table 2). There were large observed differences in neuroticism between nonbinary people and men (d = 0.66, 95% CI [0.49, 0.85]) and men and women (−0.49 [-0.62, -0.37]). While there were small to medium differences in open-mindedness between nonbinary people and men (0.30 [0.10, 0.48]) and women (0.18 [0.02, 0.36]), aesthetic sensitivity is what differed the most between nonbinary participants and men (0.60 [0.43, 79]) and less so with women (0.28 [0.12, 0.45]). Nonbinary participants and women were similar in neuroticism. Broadly, nonbinary participants reported lower conscientiousness, higher neuroticism, and higher open-mindedness than men; women reported higher neuroticism and slightly higher agreeableness than men.
A 2021 study of non-binary LGBTQ adults in the US found that the majority of non-binary adults identified their sexual orientation as [BEEP] (31%), bisexual (17%), pansexual (17%), or asexual (14%). The study also found that non-binary adults are more likely to experience economic instability, with 68% reporting not having enough money to make ends meet.
    https://statsinsights.hillstrategies...ltural-workers

    This is from Canada:

1 in every 20 non-binary people who work is an artist.
1 in every 51 transgender people who work is an artist.
1 in every 92 cisgender women who work is an artist.
1 in every 115 cisgender men who work is an artist.
So yes but also no. Alan Moore isn't genderfluid but clearly has has great taste in windows (and rings):

It's actually illegal for him to come out as genderfluid atm because otherwise every cis guy who looks like him will just be a right wing conservative Norwegian who collects knives and hangs out in the forest like the guy in my previous post. The forest part is cool as is rambling about Odin in one video but Alan Moore is a wizard and doesn't have videos freaking out about trans guys transistioning and gilette ads sooo.

Not really though, unless the UK government decides to make that illegal which it gradually is trying to do with trans people.

Also I guess in an indirect way Jordan did this again recently lol when he decided to tweet about how all liberal men were gay while insulting liberals (I can't remember exactly what he said but the gist was pointing out that whatever minority of liberal men are left are gay.) Which was very mature of him as a public intellectual (tm.) Oh the liberal creative thing is explained later in the post:

    https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33346911/

Beyond Openness to Experience and Conscientiousness: Testing links between lower-level personality traits and American political orientation

Introduction: Research has consistently revealed positive correlations between political liberalism and Openness to Experience, and between conservatism and Conscientiousness. Most of this research has made use of domain-level models of the Big Five personality traits. Recent work suggests, however, that each Big Five trait domain can be divided into distinct aspects or facets, which offer more nuanced characterizations of each trait.

    [...]

Results: Across both personality measures, liberal political orientation showed distinct positive associations with the lower-level traits Openness/Aesthetic Sensitivity, Intellect/Intellectual Curiosity, Compassion, and Withdrawal/Depression, as well as distinct negative associations with Orderliness/Organization, Politeness, and Assertiveness.
I do think conservatives tend to be more polite than liberals, but it's confused somewhat by the left wing women who are basically the reason the euphemism treadmill exists and the far right and certain right wing social media figures who tend to be very disagreeable.

Conservatives who aren't polite don't really work though because the whole point of conservatives is it's supposed to be fun corrupting them. What are you even supposed to do with someone like Steven Crowder?

    "This ones broken"

I'm sure I watched the whole of that set on YouTube before ages ago but I can't find it now.

Looks like she has a newer show though:

Lol I forgot she was bisexual. A bunch of her jokes here actually fits the rest of this post lol:

this actually made me cry. why is our own community so hateful to us?

I don't want potential dick crumbs on my sheets, strap, me or my aura
Bi woman don know what they wan & even if they chose the man they still wan the woman at the end. My ex gf first 1 ever is married wit a son. We dated back in 2010 in hi school she cheated on me w/my ex bf & I cheated back. Now 2024 she in my dms again sayin she wans me still & misses me.
Why do you have a ex boyfriend lol?

Also the 'aura' thing is so funny because I removed this from my post the other day where I linked this video but it's true:

Phoebe was also ironically the most bisexual character on the show (again not explicitly bisexual,) besides Carol (actually more than Carol tbh but that's because she's a bisexual stereotype,) and sung this song at one point:

^ This is actually not bad by 90s/2000s standards. Sex and the City was trying to be progressive for it's time and one of the worst.

"Ask her out she's not your cousin."

Can't believe they didn't include that line. I mean it's funnier if you watch all the clips though tbf:

I mean everyone is talking about Chandler being bi or gay but PHOEBE is just like openly bi
    Bicurious at minimum.
    "No stop cleansing my aura."

We all know it's bs, okay? But also ppl like this are so quick to switch up when the bi woman is hot. You know they're not gonna say that if Angelina Jolie or Megan Fox hit them up.
Oh coincidentally I was just reading about this again after googling some guy's name who got referenced on a sitcom and it turned out to be her ex husband. Unless she's changed her mind Megan Fox wouldn't date a bisexual woman either because she dislikes men:

With regard to relationships and her sexuality, Fox said that she has a general distrust and dislike of men,[102] and that the perception of her as a "wild and crazy sexpot" is false because she is asocial; Fox stated that she would rather stay at home instead of going out,[103][104] and emphasized that she cannot have sex with someone she does not love.[97][103] She is bisexual, and said she believes that "all humans are born with the ability to be attracted to both sexes".[105] She stated in 2009, "I have no question in my mind about being bisexual. But I'm also a hypocrite: I would never date a girl who was bisexual, because that means they also sleep with men, and men are so dirty that I'd never want to sleep with a girl who had slept with a man."[106]

Fox told InStyle in July 2021: "A girl would come up to me and be like: 'You had a lot to do with me, like identifying and understanding that I was gay or understanding that I was bisexual...' And that, of course, is by far, like, the most moving, rewarding thing that I have experienced in my life! To be a part of something that helped people figure that out, or helped people deal with that, or feel better about that. One of my favorite things that I get called, is being like, a bi icon and that is one of the things I am the most proud of!"[107]
I love how bisexual icons are just all bisexuals apparently lol.

The bar has gone further than hell and has no clipped into the backrooms.

    Also lol:

"Currently seeking a girlfriend. Please submit applications in the DMs," Fox captioned the post, on which Kelly commented: "I don't think you have the filing capacity for this request."

righttt? i love lesbians but im starting to see that ALOT of them feel this way about us. Probably will stay away now

It's not necessarily lesbians doing this. Because it's the mindset of an incel and/or 'red pill' guy after all.

I'm not cis but this happened to me in high school once lol (not my family other girls):

I didn't start questioning my gender until uni and trans and definitely non-binary people weren't really something anyone was aware of or discussed before then anyway. So it would have happened in the same way to plenty of cis women.

Not just Princess Diaries either so many films and TV shows.

^ They tried to do a whole "it's just like armour" spin on it + it was a crossdressing guy giving them makeovers lol because of course it's anime/manga, but it was still the same thing basically.

They do or have done 'female gender role lessons' for non-conforming cis women too who are [BEEP] and/or autistic:

In the 1940s, the age-old negative stereotype that competitive sport manufactures "dykes" out of girls and women must have made things difficult.

White female professional baseball players like Terry Donahue of the Redwings and members of the rival Rockford Peaches, Racine Belles and Rapid City Chicks were subjected to mandatory beauty and charm school lessons designed to ratchet up their cis feminine allure and to de-masculinize their physical appearance. I marvelled at a photograph of Terry and Pat in uber-feminine couture at a time when gender-transgressive butch lesbians were the most visible beacons of post-war lesbian life.
Until very recently, few resources have been available to help autistic girls through these difficulties. Now researchers and clinicians are starting to fill these gaps. For example, Rene Jamison, an assistant clinical professor at the University of Kansas Medical Center, runs a program in Kansas City called Girls Night Out. Aimed at helping affected girls navigate adolescence, it focuses on specific issues such as hygiene and dress. Although this emphasis might seem trivial or a concession to gender stereotypes, in fact, failing to address such "superficial"concerns can cause serious life problems and restrict independence.

Even many highly intelligent girls on the spectrum have difficulties with washing their hair, wearing deodorant and dressing appropriately, Jamison says. Some of this behavior is linked to sensory issues; other aspects of the problem are related to difficulty following the appropriate sequence of behavior when doing something you think is unimportant. "When Grainne was in seventh grade, I had to tell her it was against the law not to wear a bra," Halliday says of her daughter, who found bras uncomfortable. Grainne also did not want to wear deodorant--saying, almost certainly accurately, that the boys smelled worse.

The Girls Night Out group does fun activities, ranging from having manicures to playing sports. Typical girls who get school credit for volunteering provide mentoring and talk about boys and other issues the girls might not want to discuss with adults. "One of the things that we really work on is getting them to try new things to figure out what they might like," Jamison says.
Thoughts and prayers to any women here that had to put on the tradfemme mask for her family this season. There will come a day when you don't have to do any of this nonsense, if you don't want to.
Honestly a hard agree same to the men who can't be festive and cute around there toxic family. I want so bad to have a Christmas where I cook the meal pick thoughtful presents and have a judge free ,positive experience.
They don't let him cook? That's so bleak.

"Then explain princess diaries 🤨" is an unbelievably powerful response. I'm dying
I was genuinely upset when they broke her glasses as a kid tbh.

...And that's why I have a thing for glasses. No lol.

I had to do a double take
Why do men seemingly prefer a large shirt and thigh high socks over full lingerie?

I've heard it before and now my boyfriend seems to agree. He liked me in thigh highs and a shirt of him more than in lingerie
Lol yeah. But I've gotten even worse. I was scrolling through some audio in recent weeks and saw:

    implied [Breeding] kink,
And was like 'omg!' and then started listening to it and was like 'oh.. Right.. The listener who is suposed to be female is the person who... Yeah.... Lol....'

"Oh right sexual dimorphism still exists again."

In fairness the uploader has femboy in their username and there were other tags like 'msub' 'vulnerability' etc + they had other audio stuff with strap ons so. It wasn't a completely insane assumption.

the reverse would essentially be a guy in a crop top and thigh highs. Bit of a different vibe lmao
I agree and I don't care about oversized tops personally.

Oh and I think the reason is it looks casual and 'down to earth.'

this is what my girl says... it makes her "feel sexy."

i told her that's for her. for me, a t-shirt is good enough. but wearing the glasses is an absolute must.
I guess he watched the princess diaries too.

Plus, let's be real, comfort is key! Sometimes those lacy things can be a bit restrictive. A comfy shirt and some cute thigh highs? Now that's a winning combo for a relaxed night in.
I wore thigh highs a lot as a teenager and I wouldn't say they are super comfortable when they go past knee length (which by definition they're supposed to obviously.) Depending on the lingerie it might be more comfortable.

I mostly wore them under trousers because it's important to be midly uncomfortable for essentially no reason. Also the toe sock ones, I wore them sometimes - that was a bad idea comfort wise wasn't it?

I think the reason was 'these are black and red' or 'black and purple' so 'I am wearing something alternative with my boring school uniform I have to wear.'

One time I was playing truth or dare or something like that in school. I never liked doing that but got roped into it. So I was dared to walk around the hall way with my trousers rolled up so you could see my socks. A teacher came by and said and I'm paraphrasing a bit but this is essentially what she meant: 'normally I would punish you for doing this but I'm going to let you off because I think this is a positive development because you're a socially anxious mess.' I don't know why she thought that though because in spite of my personality/anxiety issues I'd been wearing weird goth and alternative clothing to non uniform days every non-uniform day since at least year 8 in that school which attracted a lot of comments (mostly negative,) but perhaps she never saw that.

Sexy comes from the idea that you are seeing something you aren't supposed to be seeing.

So things that look like "normal" clothes but are more revealing are sexier than lingerie or naked where it is clear that you are meant to be seeing what you are seeing.
That's why I like short skirts with no underwear. I like lace stuff too though.

So I was at this work party, and for a lark a woman who was a senior manager swapped clothes with one of the guys, right there in the middle of the room. And her boss flipped out was all like "you can't be stripping down to your underwear in front of the staff", to which she replied that she still had her swimsuit on from earlier in the day. And he's like "oh, ok, that's fine then".

I think about this interaction a bunch because clearly in the moment he didn't notice the difference between underwear and swimsuit. And when you get right down to it they aren't that different. The main difference is what you said "you are seeing something you aren't supposed to be seeing" swimsuit no, underwear yes.
I've thought about that before a bikini and underwear and a bra are absolutely no different it's hilarious.

But even then that outfit is only socially acceptable in a swimming environment not in an office environment. Like you wouldn't show up to work in a bikini either... But that was an amazing jedi mindtrick somehow.

"No don't worry the material is water resistant."

"Well that's fine then see I was worried that someone would set off the sprinklers and your outfit might take slightly longer to dry but now this is efficient."

Love how they have Sean Bean's character in Oblivion (Martin Septim,) being voiced by Sean Bean's character in Lord of the Rings (Boromir) lol.

Sean Bean being voiced by Sean Bean is so obvious yet i wasn't expecting it.
I forgot he voiced him so yeah lol.

Now we only need Patrick Steward in Lord of the Rings
This has to have been done before but someone should mix up the emperor with Picard.

    Remix this song lol:

Secretly, when I was pregnant with Bianca, I wanted a girl. But it wasn't that I wanted to dress her up in tutus. The nursery was blue and yellow. The playroom was all primary colors. For her first birthday we put her in a black blazer. Maybe I could just feel who she was. But my thinking about gender really changed with my second daughter, who's pretty girly.

On Christmas morning when she was three, she opened up a set of Legos in primary colors and started crying. She said, “Santa Claus brought me a boy toy.” – she thought because they weren't pink they weren't for her. That’s when I was like, “You know what? Something has to change.” There’s such an obsession with gender that it becomes limiting in many ways and exploitative in others. You don’t want what’s between your legs to guide your path in life. I want my kids to grow up in a world where gender doesn’t matter.

Now I just try to cater each child. The middle one loves dolls so she has 100 dolls. Whereas Bianca rocks her suits. She is the most confident 11-year-old you'll ever meet. The way that started is that it was time to get dressed up for our family Christmas pictures a few years ago and Bianca had been saying for a while that she didn't want to wear dresses. I was like, "That's fine. What do you think about a suit?" We both looked at each other and she said, "Can girls wear suits?" I said, "Absolutely. Let's get you one." That’s the photo that ended up going viral.

I get a lot of emails from transgender or non-binary teenagers who see themselves in Bianca. And they see her family supporting her. This one girl told me she wanted to wear a suit to Easter and her mother said she couldn't live in the house if she was going to dress like that. I was horrified.
Yeah that's so weird to me because I always thought legos were gender neutral when I was a kid and just played with them. It's not that I rejected all the feminine stuff either at that age I just didn't care. I had like 'neutral legos' but also some girly lego stuff (because they do that too.) Also shared a bunch of stuff with my brother. Also to be honest if it's mostly about the colours I think that's less about being girly and more about being both susceptible to marketing and tribalistic.

"I can't play with this because it doesn't have my team logo/colours."

    Speaking of terrible childhood toys:

It's true. I think I had some with molded short hair too, or maybe I'm remembering wrong but that's why I preferred the action man toy my brother had because at least he had hair even if it was short.

As an adult collector i would agree, but when the dolls are intended for playing with moulded hair is soo much more practical.
No. Ken always had terrible hair and I clearly have trauma from this. Now every guy has to have longer hair like Barbie and the other female dolls whose names I will never remember for me to find them attractive.

So dating cis girls... yay or nay? (slight nsfw)

Idk I just feel like an insensitive asshole for wanting to date cis girls. I'm fine with dating a fellow MtF, but a part of me says that I should only date trans women because I'm not good enough to date cis women. I just wish I was a cis girl so fucking bad. I wish I was born cis, grew up cis, came out as lesbian as cis... everything.

I know there's a whole relatibility factor to it and all that, and that's totally okay, but I just don't really know what to think about it.

I've been jealous of cis lesbians my entire life and have always wanted to be a cis lesbian dating other cis girls. All my fantasies involve dating a cis girl, and by proxy, me being a cis girl. Being a sub to a dom and getting pushed against a locker in the most cliche way possible while getting kissed down my neck, or just laying in a girl's arms and nuzzling together in bed. I want it so bad. (maybe i read too much yuri manga 😅)

I have pretty bad bottom dysphoria and have always wanted a vagina. Like I literally physically cannot look at my thang without feeling disgusted. I don't like men, and by proxy, I don't like penis either, even if it's on a girl. I feel like the likelyhood of finding a post-op trans girl to date is gonna be hard...

ugh i feel like such a horrible person...

EDIT: Thank you all for the feedback. What I said was an obvious result of internalized transphobia that I was unaware I had. I'm really sorry to anyone I offended. It wasn't my intention, and I feel horrible about it. I will try to improve. Tysm. ❤️
You don't like trans women because you made clear you don't like penis. Statistically trans women are more likely to have a penis and cis women are more likely to have a vagina. I don't get why we can't just be honest and have to downvote OP and make them agree that they are transphobic. Op you are not transphobic you are simply attracted to women and vaginas. If a woman has a penis you are less attracted. That is entirely normal and anyone who claims to not have a genital preference is lying or strongly bisexual. They are correct that you have some things to work on like self love and acceptance and therapy can work wonders, but nothing you've said is transphobic. You don't have internalized transphobia, you are just able to be honest and realize that it's going to be harder to date cis lesbians as a penis owner, and that it is going to be significantly easier to date other trans people. This cult has somehow found a way to make normal feelings and normal attractions into some internalized transphobia. Your feelings are 100% valid and you should definitely work on loving yourself more and being more confident but everything you've said about being scared to date cis women or not being as attracted to women with a penis is 100% valid and you are not alone in your feelings either. Many people feel this way and I just am really sad to see everyone downvote you to oblivion and to see you just succumb to the cult and accept that you must have internalized transphobia to work on. Maybe you just need to find people who understand reality and that sometimes dating is really hard and people have preferences and really specific standards for who they date. Just know that there are plenty of cis lesbians who are attracted to trans women, but it's perfectly acceptable for people to have a genital preference. You can't have sex without genitals and anyone who thinks genital preferences are transphobic are living in la la land.
People will always jump to this conclusion that people are arguing this because of conservative propaganda about what most trans people believe, but I don't think that's what people were taking issue with in the OP at least in the few responses above that which I read. Eg this one:

A preference is fine, but you've been making it out as trans women are inferior in your posts. I'd really consider reading back everything you've just posted and seeing why some people are upset.

I don't really give a flying [BEEP] if you prefer cis women, but to paint it over with things such as you being afraid of cis women looking down on you for being with a trans girl? That sounds really shitty
This one says having genital preferences is fine:

I want to start by saying that you are in no way less valid for having a genital preference that's so normal, I'm sure a lot of girls do but you need to get out of the mindset that trans women are second class to cis women, because that will only negatively impact your feelings towards yourself and the women in this community, we aren?t just the back up because you?re scared you aren?t good enough for cis woman. That damages the community when cis people do it. It?s even more damaging when members of the community do it.

If you don't wish to date trans women as a valid and equal ideal partner then just don't in my opinion. If you want to date cis women go do that.

I'm a trans lesbian, me and my cis partner get married next year and we're super happy, love is finding the right person that ticks the boxes. Don't ruin other people for your own selfish desires.

Internalised transphobia is a pretty common thing but you need to work on that and truly think about what you're about to say or do.
(definitely expecting too much from someone using the word 'cult' who clearly can't be bothered to actually read though edit: oh nevermind I clicked his profile he's just a complete conservative transphobe who is anti abortion as well, and inclined to conspiratorial thinking about weather seemingly... Lol. He's also turned on by feministation stuff or the idea of being a woman I dunno, he posted on subreddits about that but he's a Christian who thinks various things are sin so probably trying to avoid that. So that probably relates to his motivation here because people with some traits in common with trans people or closeted trans people are often the most aggressive transphobes. Like all the gay homophobic republican men. It's mostly men. They're the most repressed and he had an abusive childhood too, but anyway I digress..)

She still wrote a bunch about how she feels inferior to cis women and I get it kind of since I feel like a sexless potato alien species that crash landed on Earth at best. But I think that's more the dissociative way my brain functions coupled with probably undiagnosed autism or something. Nothing about socialising is intuitive or natural to me it all feels awkward.

I don't think it's harder to date cis women because lots of cis women are attracted to trans women. Several people responding are dating cis women. It would be more difficult to find someone who isn't obsessive about it probably and that you're compatible with in general and dating a trans woman would also be easier in the sense they would have more understanding about being a trans woman.

In terms of just attraction to trans women there are loads though (dicks are either irrelevant or something they're actively looking for,) and then his next point would be to argue they're not real lesbians not relevant to my point what you call them. There are more cis women who are attracted to trans women then there are trans women. The end.

    Lol I mean:

bit list of ppl i dont want to hit on me:
    - all men
    - teenagers
    - zionists
    - italians
Not the first Italian cis woman I've seen fumble a trans woman in this exact way.

The Italian instinct to be a lascivious pervert transcends gender; it's really something
(only quoting parts the conversation she posted went on for multiple days):

why are you so obsessed with it?? like half the population has then
bc this is my first time talking with a trans girl
    im so happy
    tell me in centimeters
girl if a man asked u how you masturbate you'd think he was a creep
    yes
just understand me it's my first time living my dream
    OK don't answer that
but tell if it is big
I've never talked to a trans girl before
you're gorgeous if you just come off as like,, vaguely normal you'll have so many trans women obsessed with you
    [...]

    elizabeth?
    I really need you
    do u tho
    I want a trans girl
Like i can pay for her
there will 100% be local trans sex workers near u
    there is nothing
    I swear
She can come to my house
im literally at the other end of the planet why keep messaging me??
    If you know someone
    I can pay
    $300?
i dont know anyone in Italy
just get a lesbian to use a strap??
Like I don't mean that in a mean way but it's not healthy to fly to the other end of the world for sex
Because i don't know any trans girls here
    ?
    OK
im a normal girl not a trans
I love watching trans girls porn
    It's my favourite
I want to have sex with a trans
And you are the only one
So it's a quality not quantity issue.

Also why are women like this? I've had this problem too sometimes so I'm going to blame estrogen actually. No I think it has to do with a scarcity mentality a bit as well. The bolded part I mean not the repeatedly asking someone about their genitals thing. Also I know guys do this too but stereotypically.

Also I'm definitely not 'strongly bisexual' I just don't rate genitals as being as important as other things. Possibly because I like the idea of topping so vaginas are convenient though I also visually like dicks but most of the people I'm attracted to are guys, with some trans women and non-binary people. I am sexually aroused by cis women but don't really crush on them. There is an emotional disconnect.

This is what I was getting at in my post talking (partly) about Ghost in the Shell and the sexuality thing...

Heterosexual e-sex is especially illegal because such acts entail immense pain, caused by the fact that nerves stimulated by one user are stimulated simultaneously and blindly in another user. Homosexual e-sex is safe because the participants have the same body parts being stimulated (in Motoko's three-way panel, the fondling of a breast). When Batou accidentally crashes Motoko's panel while trying to contact her, he experiences intense pain since he is receiving stimulation for organs and bodily parts which he does not possess.

Another fact about her sexuality is that she has a boyfriend during a latter story in the manga. He works for Section One, and they have been dating for seven months. Batou considers this "a new record."
Like my relationship with my body and functionality is relevant to me and conflicts with other elements of attraction like visual attraction.

I actually think that's pretty common in some form or other like a lot of guys want to have piv sex with women but then visually like dicks. Possibly because arousal is more obvious and a cultural/phallocentric thing.

For me though I'm also more physically attracted to guys and more emotionally attracted to trans women and cis men but I'm inclined to just say trans women emotionally/romantically atm... But I think that's because these things are fluid. Edit: Trans women online and fictional guys and non-binary people I've invented in my head based on famous male musicians xD I've had crushes on many guys irl and online who weren't fictional in the past though. In one case that was based purely on physical appearence though.

This is (clearly) not me being politically correct either as I obviously see a lot of trans women as having more attractive (so different,) personalities than cis women which would bother a lot of people to hear. There are trans women who are basically the same as the average straight cis woman though and then its the same thing probably I don't know. It's not like I find every trans woman attractive either. This is probably mostly because my last significant crush (not including famous people I partly invent in my head) was a trans woman too. Although it's not a single personality type either there are a couple so I don't know.

I have a feeling part of it is also probably something very problematic and predatory tbh. Like they seem more vulnerable and society hates them so I find them cute? I've noticed this pattern with other people and traits I'm attracted to as well... It's a bit like but not identitical to that one character from New Girl:

"I am genuinely afraid of her."

She can get away with that because she's very hot.

I think it's more of a contrarian thing though. I'm not specifically turned on by sadness.

There are several different things I think. Like vulnerability is attractive because it makes me want to sort of protect them, the part where someone is either controversial or seen as unattractive by others is appealing because I'm a contrarian and rebellious. I also like the idea of someone wanting to be feminine or take on certain feminine gender roles. I don't just mean that they are feminine.. It's the yearning part I think. This is cute:

Being a sub to a dom and getting pushed against a locker in the most cliche way possible while getting kissed down my neck,
Lots of other stuff I did the annoying thing where I start listing/thinking about things and feel like I have to complete some list.

As for trans guys most aren't my type due to being too masculine etc, and I have a tendency to assume they would be too dysphoric for a lot of my sexual interests etc and feel bad or I project my own feelings. I'm probably less into trans men as a group than cis women, though again it has very little to do with genitals.

Trans guys who are also non-binary and/or more androgynous are more attractive probably. If they're into cis guys or have a similar sexuality to me I know they're not going to be into me which also effects my attraction somewhat.

Another thing is that I've only come across like.. 10 or so trans guys some were also non-binary or genderfluid all on YouTube none irl.

I listen to this person's audios on sapphic gwa and she sounds hot and I think genderfluid. Sounds like she's never been on testosterone though. But until I noticed that I assumed she was a cis woman (I believe she uses female pronouns too.) Most of her audio stuff is from a female pov but one thing involved having a dick. I like her voice.

I find lots of voices attractive like I'm more bisexual about voices than any other trait

If I was very bisexual there would be no difference there but there is so it's like weakly bisexual at best overall lol. I dunno though maybe I'm just mixing up bisexual and pansexual too since most people consider them interchangeable but I feel like the definition evolved so pansexual meant that gender expression had no impact on attraction but it does for me.

But as you can see it varies depending on the specific trait(s) you are talking about like face? Mostly guys, romantic attraction? Guys and some trans woman, voice? Bisexual, genitals? Not sure impacted too much by stuff not related to attraction.

There's also the fact that I tried having relationships with guys irl and that didn't really work. I'm also not compatible with trans women most on social media have issues with non-binary people and people who aren't trans women (but often specifically people like me. They dislike everyone who isn't a trans woman but especially people like me lol.) By social media I mean twitter I guess.

I'm also very voyeuristic so I like to imagine other people doing things (as long as it doesn't make me too envious that conflicts again, I have a lot of insecurity sometimes about not being a masculine cis guy in a sexual context.)

If I was going to bottom though sexually I guess I'd prefer doing that with a woman than a guy and probably a strap on as well but the latter thing isn't because I dislike dicks just because of.. Probably evo-psych reasons (I don't want to get pregnant,) and health anxiety (feel like it's harder to get stds from stap ons if you clean them properly? I could be wrong. Or you only use one with one specific person.) I mostly prefer the idea of topping anyway though but I think female tops + dommes are hot voyeuristically.

I don't get people whose entire sexuality is so basic (not using that word insultingly just descriptive) that it's mostly centred around a visual preference for a set of genitals. It's kind of mind blowing because I have so many complicated thoughts about everything.

Oh and I really like long hair too. Obviously.

I'm staying awake to fix my sleeping pattern right now (I never really have a normal sleep cycle anyway. I was working for like 12 hours on christmas eve editing a video so got 2 hours sleep, then also on christmas day spent a few hours in between visting family doing stuff,) and I ate a ton of chocolate today. And I'm crazy.

It's either like hating people like me or this:

if i was born afab i would be a trans man
i would be a aap agamp fujo theyfab
Oh you don't want to be teenage me.

Im trying my best to transition into this
i would be a fujo theyfab lesbian, which is what i am anyways
id be theyfab enjoying being feminine while getting he/him from fellow queersTM fighting the patriarchy or something and lowkey being envious of transgirls (kinda like halimede)
i transitioned to afab so i can be transmasc
Why is it the same answer everytime. I don't think any of these trans women are OK.

I think this is mostly shitposting though.

    why would you be evil?
    Lol.

Also Halimede is just a cis woman. Actually they could be anyone they are playing a fictional character who is a cis woman chaser.

"yaoi boys think like women" these terfs literally believe "penised afabs" exist in their porn it's so crazy

90% of Yaoi Boys look and act and think like women due to being written by women. It might as well be lesbian porn.
Edit: Hours later I'm still really confused about the 'penised afab' part tbh.

Like this is not crazy right "in my gay objectifying porn, boys act like women (demure, weak, as beautiful ornaments)" like how is this not every gender and sexuality based bigotry at fucking once
the boys in yaoi are literally written by cis woman and meant to be fawned over by cis women so yeah theyre fembrained as fuck. which is why as a trans lesbian bl boys are my ideal for myself
Half these fujos are trans men in denial love this conjecture is flawed as [BEEP] I'm afraid
I really don't get how you got "penised afabs" out of me saying misogyny is why yaoi is popular among lesbians.
Idk how you read that and think I watch or read yaoi. Including me saying so in the thread. Complete non sense.
shes still crashing out about the afab fourth reich... with love, she needs to take a break and get some perspective
I have stumbled on that 'penised afab' account before and typically when I have she's complaining about about how trans men draw trans women as too masculine.

Everyone involved in this conversation is a trans woman btw. The last person posting spends a lot of time complaining about afab non-binary people too though.

if i was a theyfab the first thing i would do is call dysphoric trans women bitter and ugly.

the second thing i would do is dress exactly like trans women and mimic as many of their ingroup signals as possible so that people think im as cool as they are

Some people are very bitter about enbies because we might have been born with a body that wouldn't cause them dysphoria and some of us don't physically transition and thus we are "fake trans" and have committed the cardinal sin of existing
i don't get it, personally. they wanna be us so bad, and none of us even wanna be us. truly weird behavior.

they relish and resent our suffering
From the same account as the 'if I was a theyfab the first thing i would do is' tweet:

fujo frames make me weak i love autistic women
culturally im the worst aap fujo
culturally i want to become FtM. i think it would be cool
no literally i want to be butch/tomboy transfem lol
yeah that is cool too but sometimes i wanna be transfem going the other way like... yaoi brain damaged fujoshi dirtbag with obsessive proship autism
i ended up this way because i read too much gay slash fiction written by teenage fujos when i was 12 and now all those people are either terfs or ftms
You realise that the 'fujo' [BEEP] was my culture? That you've adopted. And I don't care if trans women do this (it seems like she socialised that way anyway,) it's mostly just fascinating to me to see but seriously...

i took estrogen to look like yaoi of boys drawn by fujos who are lesbians. not to be a fucking c1s woman
I took estrogen cuz my dysphoria was krilling me, anything else was basically just a plus
i cant relate at all. the only dysphoria i have is towards not being a literal anime elf boy with a face like a female
Nah anime yaoi boi vampires are where it's at
    truth nuke
Too feminine (for myself) my avatar is peak male aesthetic maybe? I dunno my opinion changes. Obviously he's hot too.

    Obviously this:

I was into this as a teenager (I bought every volume) I doubt the plot was good, (in the same way Twilight is pretty bad,) I don't remember it. Also it was Korean not Japanese and heterosexual not homosexual (not sure what yaoi is called in Korean stuff,) surprisingly:

I think the bishounen characters they are talking about are prob more cute and neotenic looking than this though. There's a range. But with that being said half the goodread reviews of this were people who bought it thinking it was a lesbian/sapphic work and then getting disapointed. This is perpetually surprising to me like 'how can you not tell?' That's what I was saying before with the Jeff Goldblum video when he thinks Sephiroth is a woman (that's even weirder than the above example though because of his body):

Someone on reddit was saying that their landlord came round and saw a poster of Cloud and Sephiroth and thought they were both women.

I'm not sure how I do it though, I guess just early exposure to the medium? Like someone recently posted some manga art work which I could immediately tell was an androgynous guy and a woman and they were like 'guess if this is yuri, straight or yaoi' so like I say I could tell easily and most people responding thought it was yuri.

It's funny how people say Sephiroth is 'genderfluid, trans' whatever, but he has one of the deepest voices in both the japanese and english version and he's utterly dominant to everyone he knows. If anyone is the crossdresser here it's Cloud LOL. I mean, it is Final Fantasy and a lot of the older games the men look very girly, but Sephiroth just gets his great looks from Lucrecia heh
They're only looking at art work but even then it's obvious to me he's not supposed to be a cis woman because of his body. Female Final Fantasy characters never look like that and male ones often do. I think I'm probably one of 3 people on the planet that thinks Cloud makes more sense as a trans guy than a trans woman (obviously he's a cis guy though.) He only crossdressed once for a very specific reason and because he has such feminine features he could pass. I think Sephiroth makes more sense as a trans woman than Cloud. I mean he started off as a female character in early development and also a trans woman wrote an article I read once about relating to him lol:

    https://www.vice.com/en/article/seph...l-fantasy-vii/

On its surface, Sephiroth's plot arc is a typical villain's origin story: Tormented by the sudden realization that he is the product of a scientific experiment, born of genetic material extracted from an alien named Jenova, Sephiroth becomes manic, then delusional. He starts to obsessively question his humanity, becoming single-minded in his desire to reunite with his alien mother and leave this world. During this meltdown, Sephiroth acts out in a fit of apparent madness: On his way to reunite with his mother, Sephiroth burns down the village Nibelheim, which is near Jenova's ancient remains.

"Sephiroth becomes Jenova's legacy. Because Sephiroth has willingly taken up her mantle, her genetic legacy will continue through him," one YouTube commenter expressed.

Jenova is not Sephiroth's true mother. Rather, she is a part of Sephiroth that Sephiroth is desperately trying to connect with. Always, Jenova offers Sephiroth the promise of rebirth, another life, another body, another world. Their connection is perhaps the most meaningful example of Sephiroth's complex identity, casting the one-winged angel as a clear icon for transgender women like me, who often also quest for reunion with their lost other half.
It is Jenova's role in FFVII that truly makes Sephiroth an ideal transgender icon to me. Jenova is a maternal figure in Sephiroth's story who is distinct from Sephiroth's biological family. The trans community has long embraced this kind of kinship--drag queens and trans girls mother each other, and you can't spend time with a group of either for too long without hearing someone call out, "Mother!" with as much enthusiasm as Sephiroth.

"You have to stop thinking there is a difference between Sephiroth and Jenova, because? there isn't," wrote a fan on GameFAQs. "Sephiroth is Jenova, in mind and in body."
His story arc is somewhat similar to Loki in the MCU who is genderfluid. Part of the reason I like FFVII is because the protagonist also has an identity crisis. Instead of just having the only relatable (to me obviously,) characters be villains all the time while the heroes are traditionally masculine men like in the West.

You see this boy with the long hair in the video below. If this came out in the West this character would be evil:

OK actually I'm going to link this because it will introduce the character too (though it's not the main point of the video,) and it's just a much funnier video especially the ending:

    "The disrespect."

I need to watch their newer videos at some point but they're long and so I just never could be bothered but the ones I watched years ago were hilarious.

I don't know how exactly but he would be evil, but probably they would be childhood friends and then he'd become evil later because he's too skinny with great hair and the dragon thing (which is racist against Spyro fans.) See: Maleficent. It's because they didn't like the problematic chemistry between Malificent and Aurora. Not the cartoon Malificent, or Angelina Jolie's Malificent (I never watched that film.) This Malificent:

Sorry not him either I was looking for this gif and got distracted:

She played Lilith so it would work pretty well probably.

So her and then Aurora who is the prettiest Disney princess it's true, but I don't know who to cast her as yet. Not Geddy even though he has great hair. Wrong vibe.

    Lol *posts on tumblr*

"looking for Aurora for film inside my head. Please post gifs of yourself if you fit aesthetic and vibe."

    They'll get it.

Then Jordan Peterson would rant about dragons and orangutans or something.

You can only have one or the other without being evil/a villain if you're a guy - great hair or slimness like Thor is OK because he's huge but he has great hair until he didn't! Because even Thor wasn't allowed to keep his fucking hair lmfao I forgot about that one MCU scene omg.

This is like the Ken dolls all over again.

I guess there's a bit more to it than just the hair length and slimness too, but yeah.

Nowadays other characters in the West are morally ambiguous instead I guess though (like Loki and Harley Quinn etc. Or whatever they were trying to do with Kylo Ren.)

The Kylo Ren arc was kind of a perfect example of the cultural/moral confusi- what the hell did I just read on google:

In short, he was saying he intentionally left things a bit open-ended in the same way Luke and Leia's relationship was originally open-ended. There's as much of a brother-sister thing between Kylo and Rey as there is a romantic thing. It's not like literally a sexually romantic kind of thing.
There's as much of a brother-sister thing between Kylo and Rey as there is a romantic thing. It's not like literally a sexually romantic kind of thing. They're more bound together in a crazy spiritual way that again felt romantic to me. If you listen to John Williams when he first wrote the Luke theme, it was a romantic theme for Luke and Leia. That's kind of what he was thinking because he didn't know where it was going.
Look I decided Luke was cuter than Han too because of the video:

But please decide if it is or isn't incest lol. If you don't I'll get Jordan to yell at you about post modern post boxes.

JJ it's OK. They're straight. You don't have to make them cousins or evil:

The new trilogy was confusing in that (from what I remember, I've only seen them all once,) a lot of the plot points that were set up in the first film were disregarded later on. But it makes a lot more sense when you realise it's just a Wuthering Heights fanfic set in the Star Wars universe. I would say it's a pretty good Wuthering Heights fanfic but only because there are barely any Wuthering Heights fanfics as I discovered while looking months ago. The best Wuthering Heights fanfic is still the one I posted about before though.

The problem with any series is - if you go on long enough and have too many sequels (let's say more than 3,) sooner or later it will turn into a Wuthering Heights fanfic - just see Harry Potter.

This is mostly an English curse but occasionally it infects Americans too it seems.

I'm rambling about Wuthering Heights in this post now In honour of Jeff Goldblum bringing that up completrely randomly when talking about Sephiroth lmfao.

    https://libstore.ugent.be/fulltxt/RU...15_0001_AC.pdf

While Butler describes the tensions between the forcible gender system (the heterosexual matrix) and the non-heterosexual abject, I evaluate the discrepancy between accepted male self-reliance (conventional patriarchy) and unacceptable female autonomy; a contrast that is embodied by the Byronic Hero and the Femme Fatale, and exposed, even subverted in Emily Bronte's Wuthering Heights.1
Indeed, Catherine's patriarchal surroundings increasingly order her to part from Heathcliff if she wants to be "the greatest woman of the neighbourhood" (69). The patriarchal pressure to "keep [Catherine] in due restraint" instigates a process of alienation from the once so familiar Heathcliff (46). Having spent five weeks at Thrushcross Grange to learn appropriate behaviour and accomplishments, Catherine hardly recognises her companion
Finally, I illustrate the artificiality of the gender distinction in an analysis of Emily Bronte's writer persona and her Wuthering Heights. She creates female heroines who meet the description of the Byronic Hero, while Heathcliff is constructed as the renowned Femme Fatale. As Emily Bronte is cautious not to repel her readers, she rather subtly confronts them with alternative systems and positions. As a result, the gender reversal of her protagonists often remains unnoticed. Indeed, literary criticism frequently describes Heathcliff as a Byronic Hero, while the manipulative Catherine is characterised as a Femme Fatale. These interpretations actually affirm the similarities between the eccentric archetypes.
Yeah. I noticed that. And you know this is a good point - he's not a hero at all. I think Hannibal and Clarice might be a better example of this though. Although Clarice isn't a byronic hero. I dunno maybe kind of...

The deleted Arkham scene in The Batman features a similar exchange between Batman and the Joker as the one between Clarice Starling and Dr. Hannibal Lecter in The Silence of the Lambs
Hmm. (Batman is a byronic hero so that's interesting. On the other hand Joker and Hannibal aren't comparable at all.)

What is the male version of a femme fatale?

I'm asking because it seems like it's a very rare thing to come across in stories, if at all.
    'Homme fatale' ?

First, not all writing, or all popular or successful writing employed the archetype of the "femme fatale".

So the fact that best selling authors split evenly between men and women is sort of irrelevant.

Also, when I say male voices dominated, I dont just mean male writers, I mean a male perspective.

It is generally considered that the first use of the femme fatale was in the 1913 film, The Vampire. This is also why the Femme Fatale is sometimes called The Vamp.

But it really was film noir and the detective novel that made the character what we think of today.

To my point about gender. You dont really find femme fatales in any major way in the work of prominent female detective writers. I'd argue that the character of Tom Ripley from The Talented Mister Ripley is Patricia Highsmith answer to the femme fatale character.
Hannibal. Written by a guy though. I think the point of the male equivalent is usually to tempt the female protagonist away from some patriarchal structure. With mysterious psychopathic androgyny.

She could see that he was small, sleek; in his hands and arms she saw
    wiry strength like her own.

It's that weird Satan thing I think where you can make a case for them being both hypermasculine and androgynous at the same time. Since they sit outside of the patriarchal power structure entirely (like sufficiently feminine people,) have many subversive feminine traits (socially manipulative, vengeful often, some of them are very emotional but not always.) But tend to be associated with hypermasculine traits typically too like violence.

In that sense Heathcliff is an OK example although it's kind of complicated by the fact that they started out as childhood friends.

Heathcliff thus functions as a necessary threat that forces individuals to take on an acceptable position. The dangerous demon is anxiously exiled to a marginal realm. In his dominance over the constitutive outside of the matrix, the desolate Wuthering Heights, Heathcliff accumulates identification possibilities with which the residents of Thrushcross Grange are not supposed to identify. Nevertheless, his attraction is unsurpassable: he not only seduces Catherine, but fascinates all who lay eyes on him, characters and readers alike. He is, in other words, a true Femme Fatale.
In his incarnation of wolf among sheep, Heathcliff echoes the Femme Fatale's representation of the [BEEP] who is opposed to the Victorian Virgin. Seeing that this binarisme is permeable, his likening to a venomous serpent emphasises his infectious nature, contaminating Subjects with criminality. Secondly, his Abjectness is further emphasised by the recurrent reference to Heathcliff as the "gypsy boy" (31, 45). Like the origin of the Femme Fatale, Heathcliff's lineage is mysterious, but never truly believed to be respectable
Most of the time characters who could be like this in a different story (MCU Loki,) are not seducing another character in the same way, and are just [BEEP] coded villains. I'm sure he does this more in the comics though.

If you squint Sephiroth could be considered vaguely similar but his dynamic with Cloud is more like Batman and Joker's where there's a one sided obsession from the villain and it's not actually sexual (in spite of the fanfiction.) I dunno they both manage to corrupt the hero at some point.

Women on the other hand are viewed as irrational, overly emotional and controlled by their own desires. They have to be protected from "bad" men because they can?t protect themselves. I actually think this is the exact reason why so many women feel drawn to "bad guys" in the first place. It's not about "taming" them, it's about finding someone who doesn't treat you like you are fragile and incapable of standing up to them.

It's also about defying societal expectations of who you should want to be (or sleep) with.

There is one thing that will never fail to amuse me: Men's reactions when they learn that most women are not attracted to the hunky hypermasculine beefcakesthey want to be. (Of course some women are attracted to that type of man and that's okay, but it's not like we all swoon over tall, blond, muscular superhero types with bleached teeth and a tan.)
Yeah, probably. I mean again it's uh (to quote Andrew Tate of all people lol, yes the irony):

Satan uses women to do evil.

Only takes one lying woman to destroy a man.

Women typically allow Satan into a man's life.

    Fucking isnt worth it.

    God is protector of man.

    Men are protectors of women.

Women who forfeit men's protection are protected by Satan.

Satan protects them because he uses them to destroy men and society.

Satan can only use unprotected women, men are in the way of the evil. Men fight evil. Always have.

    [...]

LGBT, Liberalisim etc. Its all feminine.

Women who "think" for themsleves destroy everything by Satans hand.

If women obey their father until they obey their man then society is fixed.

    Few understand this.
    Rejecting that 'protection.'

Like the dangerous lover romance, "Volume II" is told too late. The necrophilic tension that is initiated by Catherine's death reflects the too-lateness of that story.60
    "The necrophilic tension."

    I love academics.

    Also: "The too-lateness" lol.

Also there's an increased chance of evilness with androgynous characters even in Japan.

Regarding the round glasses though I think about this once a week now lol it's so funny:

"My main issue with the male gaze is they don't like round glasses."

I love how she didn't disagree too LOL.

"Yup but why didn't that make me more gay?"

This just made me lol really:

Best part about growing up socialized wrong n being addicted to yaoi slash fiction since 13 [...] and religiously follwing fembrained BL obsessed fujoshis is that i absorbed their fetishes and bc of that i have access to the AAP tree via way of AGAMP
"Absorbed their fetishes" I'm not sure that's how it works.

darling please translate this [BEEP] what the [BEEP] are you saying
Im not bisexual gay and im not bisexual straight im a secret third worse thing
Jesse what the [BEEP] are you talking about
I understand but it's best no one does. I love that meme lol (not really relevant just the only one I have saved):

yes im a lesbian. yes i like yaoi. yes when me and my girlfriend kiss its kind of like BL boys kissing. i dont care if u hate catgirl fujos, its 2008 get over it
It's 2008 again already. I think I was obsessed with playing Oblivion that year. Also studying art and software development in sixth form and sometimes going to this club where I played yugioh cards (pretty sure I was still going then.) Also reading Death Note fanfiction (I think I also read a doujinshi (fan comic basically but I think that term can refer to any self published work,) with L/Light at one point during this time where L was a catboy) and Final Fantasy VII fanfiction (probably? Not sure when that stopped I think I got into it when I was 16ish.) Probably Merlin (British TV show,) fanfiction too (Arthur/Merlin obviously,) because I'm not a lesbian fujo. Probably other stuff I've forgotten off the top of my head.

    What an amazing life lol.

bishounens are like a form of women kind of or well theyre like androgynous inbetweens degendered enough to feel safe for both sexes
    there is a phenomenon
have you heard of the origins of cupid?
in like medieval conception, the mythical figure of cupid wasnt a cherub or a baby or anything dumb like that. he was represented in lots of art as a very beautiful androgynous boy. and instead of merely firing an arrow that causes two people to fall in love with each other separate from him, he was often insinuated to be participating in a kind of tryst between a boy and a girl. where he serves as the androgynous intermediary between both sexes and inflames desire in both, causing a chaotic spilling over of unleashed homoerotic and heterosexual desire.

the common conception then was that cupid was a kind of solicitor of young lovers to participate in an unbounded expression of sexual desire free of any gendered framework

he was a fucking threesome twink
I wasn't aware of this (also not sure if this is true,) but it doesn't/wouldn't work because of sexual competition and that's sort of what's happening now.

Going back to that one twitter account because she sometimes posts hot things has been a tragic mistake. This has always been my downfall. Really just ever going on twitter lol.

I edited this 35253523 times too.

me and my friend met steven a few days ago :)
What did he talk about ?
Quite a bit of stuff, but most notably for me:

the motivation/process for writing the book (apparently people had been suggesting he write a book since 2010 but he held out a long time because he thought any book he wrote would be boring)

the way he and Mick Wall worked on the book together and how they wanted it to be different to the usual musician's autobiography, in particularly not just being a linear, chronological story of Steven's career. Also, Mick was keen to emphasise that this book was legitimately written by Steven rather than cobbled together by Mick on the basis of interviews carried out with the musician, as is often the case

the ubiquitous "king of prog" tag and the way that this has attached itself to Steven despite prog only being a part of what he does, and the way that he doesn't see PT as the most important or representative of his projects, only the one that got the most famous (and if No-Man had been most famous instead, would he have been seen as a "trip-hop guy"?)

the fact that at some point after PT went on hiatus he started implying that PT was over in interviews mostly to stop people from constantly asking about it at the expense of everything else he was doing
What Steven doesn't seem to realize is that there's a prog element to pretty much everything he's done. No-Man was not trip-hop in the same sense as something like Massive Attack, it was trip-hop and electronic pop run through the SW prog filter. Nothing wrong with that by the way. So he's the king of '90s/'00s prog - why not embrace it?
Oh man it would be really interesting if he'd ever teamed up with Chris Corner in that alternate reality. Of course Chris doesn't seem to work that well with others most of the time (though he did during the Sneaker Pimps years,) and is kind of a control freak musically and I think Steven has also described himself that way a bit though he's clearly collab'd a bunch more.

Oh yeah he worked with Imogen Heap once (but I think she just contributed vocals? And he's worked with other female vocalists a few times):

^ this, I Am Terrified and Screams are some of the best songs I've heard live. But he changes how he performs songs typically every tour or two so this is aproximately that:

The ending in London in 2016 was amazing.

Also two of my biggest famous crushes probably during the 2010s (though moreso Chris. Now it's 1970s Geddy Lee obviously) so would be funny in that sense too if they'd worked together.

And they are also very different in that Chris's music is a bit more personal typically and also much more sexual and his performance is a way of expressing himself, animalistic. He'll just go on stage with like a dick lolipop or pose with a butt plug in a music video bondage themed music videos etc, and Steven rarely writes songs about himself and mostly about other people and concepts and sexuality is rarely expressed. They're kind of opposites performance wise at least. But they're both kind of dark so there's that overlap.

Also both of them are very musically underrated tbh.

Curiously someone I found posting on IAMX's subreddit before was also a fan of Steven Wilson lol. So I guess they have overlapping fanbases to some extent and that person was also non-binary I think lol.

But I haven't listened to No Man much (at all? I think maybe I might have listened to some song I've forgotten by them at some point years ago.)

I agree completely. If he thinks PT is his 'prog' project, then why are half his solo albums (GFD, Raven, HCE, even a lot of TTB) straight up prog rock records? The man has a diverse output... but not nearly as diverse as he seems to believe. Even TTB, his radical 'pop' outing has progressive rock/progressive pop leanings all over it.

As you said, absolutely nothing wrong with any of that. But he is a prog artist.
What he's doing lately is probably getting closer:

^ has a kind of noir sound to it. Obviously trip hop makes use of a lot of like film score type music.

^ I love this album so much though because it was like a musical version of the exact liminal aethetic I was into when it came out which was so weird lol. It's the perfect soundtrack for it too.

You could make the argument that The Raven is a Jazz Fusion record though
Grace for Drowning obviously has jazz influences as well.
